We are all very disappointed with the Bengals and how they lost this game and how the past 20 years has really been not so good. There will be people who say that they aren't going to support this team any longer and find another to cheer for, but we all know that they will be back and ready to go next year. It's been a good season and while there have been many low points with it, the Bengals were still 6-0 in the division, 10-6 overall, the Steelers didn't make the play-offs which is a big win for us fans and theres still something to build on for next year.
With all that said, what does this team need to be better next year? Do the Bengals need a new head coach? A new Quarterback? What about offensive coordinator? Does the organization do whatever it takes to keep Mike Zimmer in Cincinnati? What does this team do in the draft?
We as fans have to move on because thats what we're used to and we will be ready for next year. Lets just hope the Bengals learn something from this season and carry it over to next season.

Are you kidding me?! Coming off a 4-11-1 season last year to 6-0 in the division and 10-6 overall isn't mediocrity, its pretty darn good. If you were thinking this team was going to the Super Bowl, then that was your downfall. I didn't expect the Bengals to even make the play-offs this year and yet, there they were.
This is just the start and lets hope they can continue success next year.

To the fane who say they're done... ummm don't let the door hit you on the way out! Head up to Cleveland! But I do feel changes do need to be made. Brat has been there for a while and I feel as much as we stall what would hurt getting new blood in there shake some things up. Also as much as I hate it meybe we should let chad go, I wanna see him win. he does what he can but I just worry he may fall short... I hope Im wrong and we can see the success he deserves, But lets start with brat and try it agian! I love my Bengals and whether its a curse or not Im in it for as long as we are putting a team on the field!

So many of us have been saying this for months: We built a team that could beat AFC North teams but couldn't beat ANYONE else. And look what happened? Ever one of us who has been getting slammed for "negativity" was proven absolutely right tonight.
Marvin is a simple-minded coach. That's all there is to it. He can only hold one goal in his head at one time. For a minute it was "Score a lot of points." Then Carson got hurt and it was "Run really good." Then Rudi and Chris Perry bombed and it was "Build a good defense." It's pretty obvious to any reasonable adult watching now that it takes MANY different things to make a good football team and after 7 years I haven't seen Marvin do any more than 2 well at any given time.
Not a single head coach in the history of the NFL has gone 7 seasons without winning a playoff game. There shouldn't be a conversation at this point. Who's available?

Carson said it himself , it don't mean crap unless you go somewhere.
If you do the math, 19 years of playoff win drought, I think this team is below Mediocrity, I was being generous when I said mediocrity.

Honestly, I'm more mad that college football is over... granted that is probably because with OSU I haven't had to wait around two decades for some success...

I say bring in T.O. We need to bring this man in! Not only does it take pressure off Chad but, he is a primary rec'r himself. I think that alone opens up this offense! Can you imagine chad on one sid and t.o. on the other with coles in the slot. Shoot all you need is a 3 wide rec'r set and you can still utilize coles and the tight ends. That there sounds right out crazy with a big capital K! LOL! Seriously they need to think about that! Sounds like a win, win to me!

It was a good season. Some of the positives...6-0 in the division, a respectable defense, AFC North Champs and # 9 was able to play the whole season.
Here a four suggestions for the 2010 season:1) A new Offensive Coordinator; 2) A new Kicker (our "Franchise Player" truly vapor locked today); 3) A new Tight End (one that can catch the ball and block as well); and 4) Most importantly...KEEP Coach Zimmer.
For such a young team they handled the highs and the lows very well this year. Coach Lewis will have this team prepared both physically and mentally in 2010. WHODEY...the draft is less than 100 days away...
