nfl.com says jeremiah masoli is going to the nfl by entering himself in this year's supplemental draft. something tells me that the bengals are going to try to make a run at him at some point. how would you feel if masoli became a bengal? i personally think we could use another qb but not masoli.

His arm is questionable. He can run around and make defenders miss, but I don't see him as a fit for us.

If the Bengals pick up a player in the suplimental draft, they would loose a pick in next years draft. I don't see them using one of next years picks on a backup QB.

No.
he's not even six feet is he.. i wouldn't take the chance.. doesn't seem like a pure passer.. and we dont need to spend half the time incorporating the option lol
i do want a different back up QB though

Of course people are going to link the Bengals to him because the national media hasn't gotten over 2007 yet, but the only way the Bengals would sniff around Masoli is if he goes undrafted. Even then its probably unlikely as he isn't a fit for what we do; he'll likely have trouble even finding a PS spot as a QB.

agree about the option lol, we need a 6-5 pure pocket passer as a backup, i wanna nice big QB with an arm and good decision making ability, but thats just me lol

Please, God, no!
He's a huge character risk with minimal upside as a pro QB. He was a good option QB in college, but he's not an NFL QB. I wouldn't even take him to play RB.

The Bengals got burned once from an Oregan QB, don't expect them to look again.

Masoli is way too small and doesn't have the arm strength to play QB in the NFL. He will be lucky if a team picks him up.

Why don't we just save a draft pick and re-sign Reggie McNeal?Mellow
Seriously though, not just 'no' but HELL NO!

Nathan Enderle 6-5, 235, pocket passer with a 62% completion rate and 3 to 1 TD to interception rate. scored a 40 on his Wonderlic. A dark horse in the 2011 draft.
