Tampa Bay Devil Rays getting new look....

On the plus side, they are desperately in need of a new image. Unfortunately, the logo and new uniforms cost more than half of their major league roster combined.

I think they were created using only Microsoft word and a little bit of Paint to make the sun burst.

I believe they are dropping the "Devil" from their names as a result of political correctness....or maybe it's just backlash from their latest mascot:

And they are most definitely plain. I think they tried to save money by buying some of the Padres' old uniforms second hand and making some minor alterations.

Those just look horrible. Everything looks generic about them now. The color scheme, the plain uniforms. They are baseball's most anonymous team and now they're going to be even more anonymous. I guarantee you that someone will think they're called the sun rays because of that new look.
