All my other teams in other sports have had moderate amount of success. Here we have a owner trying to run a profootbal team using dinosaur policies and tactics. We are the laughing stock of all professional sports franchises. Yet whenever confronted with any of this he still beleives we are doing a better job than most. NFL football has now become a second rate sport for me but because I know the Bengals have no chance at any kind of sustainable success.

I blame my ancestors for settling in Cincinnati to begin with.

jump ship 2 pittsburgh if your worried about being laughed at. i'll give u a ride.
so what palmer wants out? if a trade or retirement really does happen that's a dream come true. the guy is a average qb. we could pick right up at qb where we left off with orton or kolb.
i wish we could get rid of all the players that want out of here. we need guys that realize how priveliged they are to be in the nfl and will go all out.

Well, i'm 31. When I was 6 or 7 I was really getting to enjoy sports on TV, particularly football. I liked college football, and also watching the Bengals...that was about the time they really started to gel for the 88 super bowl run. This had me hooked.
It's been a general disappointment since. luckily, I went to OSU as an undergrad and they have always been a great team to watch, and I stopped watching the NFL for years and years...the nineties just took everything I loved about the NFL out of me (rooting for my home team, that is), until about 2005 when I came back to Cincinnati. I saw a re-emergence of the team and thought things would keep going, but sadly, they've regressed.
I'm not going to become a Pittsburgh fan as so many around Ohio have (it seems...SO many jerseys and Steelers coats around Ohio...), and never will. But I wonder if I could follow an organization I respected from the top down, and how I'd feel about watching another team...

Doesn't it say something that so many people want to get away from this organization?
It isn't like Carson was a drama queen and was a selfish player- he couldn't have been a more model player.
So to bring someone like Carson to this kind of breaking point, the question has to be come WHY?!
You say people who don't want to be here should leave-
THEN WHY THE F*** SHOULDN'T MIKE BROWN LEAVE BECAUSE HE OBVIOUSLY DOESN'T WANT TO WIN HERE EITHER??? HE IS THE PROBLEM, ENABLER!!!

im not here 2 talk anybody into staying. i've seen way worse as a bengals fan then this. i'm an enabler because i will still be a fan? or because i don't have the $ to buy the team away from mike brown? because that's the only way things would change here.
what has being a model player done for him? not win games. not become a better then average qb.
