If you could have a "do over" for the 2007 Draft, which players would you choose?

I guess I'll take a whack at it.

1st Round: Leon Hall CB... no changes necessary. A talented Corner with a lot of upside, and just a few more things to learn before becoming a true shutdown defensive back.

2nd Round: (Trade 2nd round and 7th Round to Detroit) Paul Posluszny LB... a great linebacker with powerful playmaking abilities. Sure he hurt his arm playing for Buffalo... but if he was wearing stripes he'd probably only break his back or have a minor/major skull fracture

2nd Round: (Trade 4th round and next year's 2nd to Green Bay) David Harris LB... this guy is a spectacular player with the ability to get behind the line and take down any offensive player that gets in his way. I'm not too sure about his coverage abilities, but he's got two sacks for the year and he's only a backup for the Jets (they got him by trading with Green Bay).

3rd Round: No changes necessary

4th Round: Traded... sorry Marvin White, but we need linebackers

5th Round: Kevin Boss TE... nice pass catching Tight End with the ability to go deep. He's also 6'6 which should make him difficult to cover during one on one matchups.

6th Round: Matt Toeaina... if Domata Peko thinks he's good then I'l gladly take his word for it. That 81 yard interception return was not only hilarious, but impressive.

7th Round: Chinedum Ndukwe... this guy is special and I really hope he gets more playing time throughout this season and the next. (Note: I realize that above it states that we traded our seventh round pick, but we had a compensatory pick)

uuuum the lions would have never did that trade sorry i would have taken Rd Sel# Player Pos. School
4 106 Tanard Jackson CB Syracuse
Analysis
Jackson played cornerback at Syracuse, but was moved to safety at the Senior Bowl. A big plus here is he can play safety or corner. Jackson has 2nd round talent and if he can stay out of trouble, he's a steal here.

Ah I made a mistake.

2nd round and next year's 3rd to Detroit. (We should be getting another third round pick next year for losing Steinbach, so we should still have a remaining position in the third round).

Now I'm sure some of you will comment on me trading away a considerate portion of our next year's draft. However, based on these players performances, I think it's safe to say we'd have a spectacular season with these guys on our team. Besides we'll essentially only be absent from the second round, due to the conditional pick I mentioned above in the third.
