Please forgive me if this already been posted but I haven't been here a whole lot in the past year.
I knew Reebok's deal was expiring and Nike is to take over, but I didn't know there were going to be these kinds of changes.
What do my fellow fans think of the Bengals one? I'm not sure what to think yet. Will you buy one?

If they are legit, here is a link to the rest of the league. PIT is hideous,BTW and I dont see any changes in CLE.

I see what Nike was trying to do here. The design isn’t a bad idea, but like the Bengals 2010 offense, it doesn’t quite come through. The helmet looks like a garbled mess, and the pants look like they tried but ultimately failed to get the entire logo on the outfit.

i wish they would change the pants to solid black, use black as the primary color on the jersey, and i would be okay with the helmets...anything to get us away from the lids that are so associated with losing and blunders

They look horrible, the ones they have now are bad enough, I wouldn't waste my money on either of them, I liked old school unis, not the arena look.

These are just sample designs Nike did to showcase their Pro Combat line. I wanna say these pics starting floating around last fall. These are NOT the new uniforms though.

It was determined long ago that those were fakes.

I agree. I've never been a fan of the striped helmets anyway. But even someone who is would have to admit the association of which you speak. Get rid of them for that reason alone.

They aren't even sample designs. They are fan made designs and they are horrible. Nike isn't allowed to make drastic changes like this to any uniform.

Finding out that these were fake was the best thing that's happened to me so far this year. Those are completely horrible, just like every other team's "design". Hopfully when Nike does take over, its nowhere near this bad.

95% of those look like arena league crap. They're fake anyway, so I guess we are done here.

I don't think that design is real, but it's ugly as ****. Looks like some afl2 uniforms.

Even if Nike did want to change uniforms there is no way any of these types of unis would fly. You can't make out a distinctive logo on any of them. They are all over the place and why would all the teams want the same look? (Like a bunch of the college "stepford teams" are starting to do - thanks Nike).
I would not mind re-doing the Bengals uniforms and Nike taking over would be the ideal time to do it. However, if you think the Cowboys, Packers, Steelers, Raiders, Dolphins etc are going to change their helmets then you are crazy.
And for the record these unis are terrible.

Yes, these photos have been posted on here a BUNCH and as stated above the general consensus seems to be that they were a promotional thing only and not "real"
