Should Baltimore have the 6th pick since we've beaten them twice?

In the event of a tie for the NFL draft they go by schedule strength and quality of wins not head to head.

Yeah the idea of the Patriots having a top ten pick, let alone a top 5 pick is horrible.

So I'm hoping for the 49er's, Rams, Jets, and Falcons to win at least two, or three more games.
I don't think Miami will win 4. So would that give us the #2 Pick?
We trade down a couple of spots and still have get who we need and have even more picks.
With a new HC, OC, and DC it could make a difference.

Why would Randy be gone after this year?

he only has a one year contract and will want more money than they will give him

I disagree. New Englad frequently gets marquee players to sign for less than they are worth just to stay a part of the team.

Realistically speaking, Moss realizes that he is on the downside of his career and he's really buying what the Pats are selling. He doesn't really need the money so he'll be willing to entertain any offer they have.

Randy is still a me player and will make a lot more being out on the market. look at Samuel he would not take less and so they franchised him

Moss will sign cheaper than what he can on the free market.

He really likes the Pats

If he were a me first guy while with the Pats, he'd be all over the press talking about how great he has made the pats.

Listen to his interviews and the way he plays, he's drinking the Pats Kool-Aid by the gallon.

Even if they can't sign Moss and want to draft a WR in the first round, name me one guy that they would target that high.

He is trying to look good in the public eye he is smart. They would draft Desean Jackson.

No way they draft Jackson with a top 5 pick, he's not worth it. If they go offense they will draft either McFadden or Jake Long.

If they go defense, they like to use 1st round picks on the D-line so I could see them pick either Dorsey or Ellis who are good fits for 3-4 ends. Or if the right LB or 3-4 OLB tweener is avialable although I'm not sure who that would be.

Gholston could actually fit that bill. He's a 260 lb end who runs a 4.5 40.

I know Jackson is not worht a top 5 but i think they will reach for him they do not have many needs. I could see them go for Ellis and try to put him on the end but that might be some work. As for Gholston i do not think he would make a good LB but i have been watching some more tapes of him and i am starting to like him.

That's kind of who I was thinking but I don't know if he's gonna get his stock all the way up to be a top 5 pick.

As for his 40 time, he was 4.5 coming out of high school. The 2 times that I've seen cited on various draft sites is 4.78 and 4.67. I don't know which one is more recent.

I completley forgot about the trade with the 49ers and pats. How does a team like the Pats get so lucky.I say the Pats take the best LB available or trade down and get more picks since they had some taken away. The whole thing ticks me off i mean they get caught cheating and still figure a way around it.:vomitfest::SoapBox:

They even pay off the ref's and dont get caught. They should trade down that would probably be there best bet but i do not see them taking a LB. They do not like rookie LB's they like them to be really experinced.

I think taking a LB for the Pats isn't a bad idea. The LB selected can sit back and learn from the vets.

Well i hope they don't take a LB cause if they do and he declares then goodbye Little Animal.I really do think it is a tose up on what they do though, and if i were them i would trade and get a pick or so back to make up for there lose.

I want SF to win as much as possible.
I said this months ago.
If they go Offense it will be McFadden. He'd be hard not to take if they pick in the Top 3. Belichick would do it out of spite.
If its Defense and he declares , it could be Laurinaitis. I have thought this would be the direction they would go as they have an aging LB core. All who still perform great , they just need to get some youth there. Seau , Vrabel , Thomas , Bruschi and Colvin.
Makes me :vomit: thinking about it.

I dont know if it would make me feel any better seeing them trade down for more picks. <_<
