A superstar with a 3.95 ERA at AA?

Sounds more like a work in progress...

Ahhh, another pitching "prospect" in the Reds organization. These always seem to pan out for us.[:'(]

Is this the big trade for the Reds this year? I believe it is. Well, there is always next year.

I doubt it, I think they're still trying to deal Dunn. Remember, the non-waiver deadline is over, but the waiver wire is still running active.

I actually like this move because since he's been here Lohse would have one electrifying outing for every one horrible AND one below average outing. Which is why his ERA is always around the 5-range, and he'd make for a good playoff push type of guy. Because in the playoffs, you cut down to your three, sometimes four best pitchers meaning he'd be a long reliever type in the playoffs, and spot starter.

Plus, Maloney gives us another prospect, and the more you put together, the more likely it is that you'll find someone who will work. How else do you explain how the Marlins won 2 championships after mega-fire sales?
