Any UC football fans in here. I love UC football and basketball. I hate Nacy Zimpher but I must stay loyal and I think our Bearcats will have a decent year in football. Anyone else agree?

Right here, bro. I love them. I'm currently at the medical school (year 2 of 4) and can't wait for the season to start. I'm heading to as many games as I can. The schedule (especially at home) is exciting but challenging. A good buddy of mine is Anthony Williams. He's hoping to start at Safety this year (he was a Strong Side LB the past two seasons). Here's to a great season (and a few more wins at home like that Rutgers game last year)!!! Go Bearcats...

How bout them bearcats? I got a little prediction to make. I've been saying it all summer that the Bearcats will sneak into the top 25 at some time this season. How big would that be for the football program. It's a step in the right direction. Hopefully they can pull it off. They got alot of talent this year.

The Bearcats will start off 5-0, then they will be in the top 25. Then they will have two tough road tests(Rutgers,USF), which we dominated both last year, before the UofL game oct. 13. Go Bearcats!

I have season tickets.

Whadya guys think the chances of UC grabbing a top 25 spot?

Not until after Rutgers. No quality opponent yet (and no, oregon state isn't quality). Although all the wins were impressive, either need one from a long road trip and an established team, or a lot of the 20's to lose. AP is more realistic, they're sitting at 29 now, but behind some good clubs with good teams already played.

I graduated from UC. I love UC hoops and miss Huggins, although I like what Cronin has done recruiting the past year or so and I think he will get UC back on the map. I will not forgive The Wicked Witch of the (Big) East, and have vowed not to give the school another penny until she is gone. I like UC football, but I am first and foremost a Buckeye football fan.

Bearcats will move in to the top 25, maybe next week, but definitely after the San Diego St. game, I really don't see the Bearcats letting up at all! Go Bearcats!

I like their chances. I thought all summer that they had the talent to suprise a few people. Lets hope they keep playing well and get a shot at knocking off a good team to get them there.

Yep, I hope they keep playing well, so that by the time they can play Rutgers, Lousiville and West Virginia they get some big opportunities to make a nmae for themselves this year. They might even get a decent bowl bid if they win against those big opponents, although I will admit that West Virginia game will be a very tough game.

Sorry,

Been a little busy at work. I went to the UC-Miami game. Team is looking great. I missed the Marshall game, but I have my tickets for the Louiseville game. I'll be front row again. Oh, by the way, I work at UC. Love what's going on here and how much it is ticking off Buckeye fans.

24th?

After beating UoL and Arkansas...That's 2 Heisman candidates (IMO,the top 2 Heisman candidates) the C-A-T-S CATS CATS CATS! are 14th in the AP, 15th in the coaches, and 12th by ESPN sportsnation.

I'm just gonna throw this out there...UK will always be better than UC in anything. Which includes badminton.

The Bearcats will kill UofL, they have no defense. It should be about the same outcome of the Oregon State game, well we might give Loserville a touchdown. So I say 45-10.. UC!

I don't understand how you can say Louisville and Lexington are redneck towns considering Louisville is bigger than Cincy, and Lexington is cleaner.

Facts remain the same...Ohio is just as big a redneck state as Kentucky.

You do realize that Louisville merged with Jefferson county in 2003, correct?

They are, without a doubt, bigger than Cincy. Trust me, I've been to both...

Cincinnati has a much bigger metropolitan area, so if Cincinnati merged with Hamilton County they would have about 1.5 million people, there is no comparison. Cincinnati overall is much larger, without a doubt.

Thats stupid, same thing Indy did to get a population increase. If Hamilton county merged with Butler county in the same manner it would have a population of over a million easy. There is discussions of Dayton and Cincinnati merging by 2010 and it will be the nations 17th largest market with a population of around 3.2 million. WHo cares about that any ways, Cincinnati is still a better town. The only thing good to come out of Louisville is Muhammad Ali.

This is UC's biggest test so far this season. It will be a close game I think.
I'm going homer on this one and I say UC pulls it off with a 31-21 win. Close until the fourth quarter and UC edges past them.

... how awesome would that be? I could see that happening. With Brian Kelly's offense that is a big possibility... but I'll wait awhile before I crack the champagne. He looked horrible in his first game with ND. Hopefully that whole thing was Weis' fault.

And I say UC 31- UL 28.

That was a nice win for the Bearcats, big games coming up so they have to stay focused. Brain Kelley is doing a tremendous job in Cincinnati. He inherited a good football team, but either way he has shown he is a great coach. I was worried awhen they were down 17-7 but the coach got them fired up at halftime and they came out and got things done. Go Bearcats!!!!

We at BengalsJungle.com are posting this to help UC.

Your vote on ESPNU http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/espnu/index can help the UC Bearcats get some added publicity. Voting their game with Rutgers (28-23 win) as the Game of The Week will help the Cats get the attention they truly deserve. 6-0 start to the season and 9 consecutive wins is something to appreciate.

I'm getting most Bengal forums together to do this. We should be able to move everything into the BearCats favor if we work together. .
