Hi guys i'm planning a trip to come to Cincinnati for the Arizona game from England, i'd be grateful for a bit of input from anyone and everyone if possible, i just found a Flight and 3 nights in the Hyatt Regency, just a few questions what’s the Hyatt like? i read that it was only 3 blocks from the stadium that would be ideal, also how far is it from the Airport? is it near any good bars and what else is there to do in Cincinnati? also are you all friendly? as i'll be going on my own, and lastly where's the best place to sit? thanks in advance [:)]

I believe the Hyatt is also the team hotel for the visiting team, but not sure. I do hear it's very nice. It's about 11 miles from the airport to downtown Cincinnati. We are very friendly, however some are not such as Pittsburgh & Cleveland to name two. Game Day Sports Cafe is one place I know of within walking distance of the stadium. Newport on the Levee in Newport, KY is a shopping complex that also has 16 restaurants (just cross the Taylor Southgate Bridge into Newport next to US Bank Arena, make a left @ the light, and Newport on the Levee is on your left).

I didn't mention this before, but anywhere on the Bengals side of the field is a good place to sit. Plenty of tailgating. Most of it can be found in Lot D @ PBS, or @ Longworth Hall just west of the stadium.

Wherabouts are you from, anyways?
TBH, any game is worth going to, preseason or not. As for Cincy - I don't know a lot; but don't expect Rome.

Ah, Down South* as Alan Bennett's mam would put it. I haven't been to a game; though i'd love to. I'm putting that on a list that will say something along the lines of 'things that I'd want to do when I leave University, get a (real) job and get earning an honest wage.'

*Which of course means anywhere south of Manchester.

I think i've come across NottinghamBengal on my forum travels, any idea if there's a UK Bengals fan club or anything?

The airport is in Northern Kentucky. It is not within walking distanceof downtown. You should be able get a taxi.
Walking around downtown is alright, and most Ohioans are known for their friendliness, but it's not always "safe". Avoid the area known as "Over the Rhine".
There are a few sights to see and hang out, like Sawyer Point. There are plenty of good places to eat and get drinks downtown. If you are a hater of smoking, then you'll be thrilled to hear that everything is smoke-free. If you are a smoker, then you'll want to know that smoking is banned in bars and public places in Ohio, but you are a quit taxi ride to Newport on the Levy in Kentucky where smoking is encouraged. :-D
Are you a looking for pubs, dance clubs, or patio bars? Historical stuff? Thrill seeking? What's your pleasure? We can recommend some things to entertain you.
