I noticed last night that people's posts counts were gone and had titles in there instead. Are we going to have them back anytime soon?

I noticed that today...I was kind of mad at first, but I like it now...I think that we prolly won't have them back! It's kind of a label. I think I'm like a benchwarmer or something...IDK...I forget, but I like it now!

I agree i liked the post count better also but if this is the new thing then ohh well it's just a post count

Yes we did, good 'ol IPB forums. These's forums we have now are not 56k user-friendly.

I say leave them off. It might keep some of the people a little more down to earth when chatting with some of the new members.

Exactly... Now there should be fewer members who post simply to get a huge post count. With this new feature hopefully we end up with better quality posts instead of people just popping into threads and saying:

"yah i egree thet thurmin wil replase rudy as querderbeck next session"
or
"yeh i thenk thit u r dum fur knot seaing thet pulmer es demaged guds"

Whoa, that looks like a foriegn language at the bottem.......but if you sound it out, AH HECK! My wife speaks that on occasion, it's a mid western dialect of bendenese.

I am glad that we have the titles back, ala the old boards. I know that was one issue everyone had with the new boards. I was wondering if there was a way to see how many posts it takes to move to the next level though? How many before I get to leave the Heisman winner category and move on?

unfortunatley we could only have one or the other...we decided to go back to what we had on the old board which made it kind of fun on here...you get a different rank depending on your post count...but the software won't show both...so we are showing points also...there is a breakdown how they work in another topic titled "how are the points calculated"
