Although the injuries to Willie and Levi worry me, I have to say I have high expectations for Whitworth and Andrews. I like the idea that they get to practice with the first team during camp, as maybe it'll keep us from getting caught with our pants down if we lose one of the big dogs for real. If Willie plays, which I find it hard to believe he won't as he is our ironman, we will have one of the most massive lines in the NFL. Ghiaciuc will be the only one not in the 340-350 range. These guys are monsters and athletic to boot. 2 things good about this: 1. We don't get nailed like Indy did with the Tarik Glenn situation if Willie decides to up and retire next season. Although Willie is irreplaceable, someone will be ready. 2. Maybe, and it's a big maybe, we can actually use the run more with these monsters at the ponit of attack.

Willies fine. He is starting his 13th year in the NFL and he has been carrying around a 340 pound frame most of his life. What are the Bwngals to gain from playing him a lot in the preseason and working him in the offseason. Nothing. His conditioning has never beena problem and even if he IS dinged he shows up for wok on Sunday.
Levi Puzzles me a little. This injury has been nagging for a long time. We shall see by the third game of preseason if he answers the bell. I think he will.
Yes it is a nice feeling to have whitworth with the body fat trimmed down and seasoned a little if he is called on.
