LOL really? This was to good to pass up.
Disclaimer: Ok ok, I agree with the cyber-bullying aspect for middle school bullies.
Arizona marches to the beat of its own drummer. But if that drummer gets upset and starts hollering on the Internet, he might get tossed in the clink.
After spending years targeting illegal aliens, the Grand Canyon State is turning its sights on obnoxious Internet users (commonly called 'trolls'). A new update to the state's telecommunications harassment bill could make the practice of harassing people online illegal.
Arizona House Bill 2549 has already passed both of the state's legislative bodies and is currently sitting on the desk of Governor Jan Brewer. While there's a lot in there that doesn't concern trolling, here's the line that has people worried:
It is unlawful for any person, with intent to terrify, intimidate, threaten, harass, annoy or offend, to use ANY ELECTRONIC OR DIGITAL DEVICE and use any obscene, lewd or profane language or suggest any lewd or lascivious act, or threaten to inflict physical harm to the person or property of any person.
Violators could be charged with a Class 1 misdemeanor and face up to 6 months in jail. If electronic devices are used to stalk someone, the charges then become a Class 3 felony, with penalties ranging from a minimum sentence of two and a half years in jail for non-dangerous offenders with no prior record to 25 years.

Sorry but being fairly new here I keep seeing references to someone that went by SFB. It appears there was some drama that got this person banned and it sounds like some crazy stuff went down. I tried do a search but could not find anything.
Just out of curiosity what happened? As it appears relevant to this story.

Pages 4 and 6 will give you a small sample of what we were referencing. They get worse, but a quick search gave me this one. Think the epic thread that led to the demise has been deleted. :what:

He said something about my family... I pointed out that that's easy to do over the internet. Make fun of me all you want, but he knows nothing about my family. He said I called him out... blah, blah... Then, he wanted my cell number, I gave him my address... Threats this and that.... Internet tough guy stuff... He got reported... Boom!!! One less idiot here.

If you actually gave someone from the internet your address of whom you have "issues" with, not only could you be jeopardizing yourself, but also the rest of your family.
He/she could be just a 13 yr old kid just pounding the keys on the keyboard. What if it's not. What if it's someone that's on the verge of snapping and you make their list. You more than likely will not recognize them if they decide to do some sort of hanious act before it's too late.
On the other hand let's say you gave them a false address. Now you could be putting someone totally innocent in harms way over petty bickering over the internet. i.e.what Spike Lee just did a few weeks ago.
Neither is a smart thing to do.
