Re: We will win a playoff game this yr.

I hope you are right!

It would be really nice to see.

Re: Built to Run

No, not at all. I'm referring to the drafting of Jeremy Hill and finally putting a running game there. The team passed on Lacy the year before, taking Eifert, Bernard and Hunt before Lacy was taken...

LOL, I know little about him.

Re: Hindsight re-draft

It really depends on what round we are talking about. I would have looked at WR starting in the 3rd round. For me it would come down to how good are his hands, route running, then speed.

In the...

Re: Hindsight re-draft

You know I hear ya. While the team had no shot at getting Winston or Mariota, they should be drafting a QB every year to develop and see what turns up. That's what Seattle did with Wilson, they never...

Re: Hindsight re-draft

First, I'd have taken Malcom Brown in the 1st, which is what I would have done start with. He'd have made an immediate impact.

I'd have let some other team deal with Cedric Ogbuehi and his...

Re: Built to Run

Some QBs are carried by their teams. Knock out a few parts and suddenly that QB looks really sub-average. Not mentioning any names or anything.

One thing I did like about this draft is that both...

Burkhead can catch as well, so good point.

Re: Built to Run

Not sure who's going to run the ball with power when Hill's not in there, maybe Wilder has come along.

Re: Built to Run

Yep and that is the gigantic elephant in the room that this team seems to just ignore.

Re: Built to Run

OMG, fans were screaming about the running game since BJGE was signed. Lewis finally freakin' listened. That's all that happened. That and Andy Dalton's inability to make key throws.

Re: Where will Bengals rank at the end of the season?

I don't see how this draft would lead you to that conclusion.

The team hasn't come close to winning a playoff game in 25 years, and in fact has been soundly beaten since Mikey B took over.

So...

Re: Great that Marvin gives these guys a second chance.

Because Marvin can't freakin' win in the playoffs and it's gone beyond disappointment into being the butt end of many, many jokes.

And, many of those troubled guys turned out more trouble than...

Re: Worst DRAFT EVER?

Definitely not the worst draft ever.

The worst Bengals draft ever would be 1999 when Mike Brown refused to trade the #3 overall pick to NO for their entire draft, plus a #1 and #2 the next year...

Re: Welcome Jake Fisher the Bengals second round pick. Board member rating?

Who's complaining about our OL? It's one of better lines in the league and Whitworth is certainly a top 2 or 3 LT.

Re: Welcome Jake Fisher the Bengals second round pick. Board member rating?

This can only mean one thing: The team is getting ready to jettison salaries so that they can go after Philip Rivers next off season.

If I could only be so lucky.

Re: How would you rate the first round pick, Cedric Ogbuehi

That was just one person's opinion and they aren't Bengals fans.

Re: How would you rate the first round pick, Cedric Ogbuehi

Could have been Kelvin Benjamin, a player who would have made a difference for the Bengals last year. Don't get me wrong, I liked the Dennard pick, he was a good value where we got him and Hall was...

Re: How would you rate the first round pick, Cedric Ogbuehi

It's just that it's really no help this year for a team that needs to get a win in the playoffs. We really won't know how good or bad this pick is for a few years.

Re: How would you rate the first round pick, Cedric Ogbuehi

I'm not objecting to the guy going in the first round. I'm objecting to the team taking someone who really isn't going to help them over the playoff blues hump they are stuck in.

Re: How would you rate the first round pick, Cedric Ogbuehi

I voted D+. This team can't win a playoff game and really hasn't even been competitive in those games come the second half. Each one of those games was a solid loss.

I did predict an OT would be...

Re: Which AFC North Team Had the Best Draft so Far?

Can't really judge it at this point. The Browns had two picks, so they've obviously gotten the most talent so far.

The Bengals drafted for future need, which is tough to stomach when they've been...

Re: Smart Pick Round 1, Landscape today

The OT was an anti-climatic pick, but not unexpected. With Brown, Dupree and Collins all on the board, we pass on them and each of those guys will contribute this year whereas our OT likely won't.
