Re: Reds 2015 season thread

Can we please let the "Great American Fire Sale" begin?

The Reds need to trade everyone they can get a willing trade partner for. If we can get value, great. If not then at least we might be able...

Re: BenJarvus Green-Ellis holds the key to "Deflate-Gate"

He did hold the key, but he fumbled it while he was playing for us.

Re: 2015 Reds outlook

Yeah, I agree. I don't think we will see him till september call-ups at the earliest. Most likely not until 2016.

Re: 2015 Reds outlook

Hamilton is one of my biggest concerns, hopefully he can make some strides this year.

I believe Winker suffered the shoulder injury when he was moved up to AA last season.

Re: 2015 Reds outlook

Winker did play exceptional in the AFL, best BA in the whole league. Take it for what its worth.

Marlon Byrd didn't have too good of an OBP year last year, and the strikeout numbers were very...

Re: 2015 Reds outlook

It was back in late october when they declined him. Ben Lively is a decent prospect, and I'm on the fence on that trade. It was probably the best we could do, since jockless sat on his hands for so...

Re: 2015 Reds outlook

LOL WHAT?!? I like Ben Lively but the dude wasn't even our top RIGHT HANDED pitching prospect. He was a top 10 prospect in our farm system at best. Frank Robinson was already a HOFer by the time we...

Re: 2015 Reds outlook

This^ My low for this team is 76 wins, my high is 83 wins. Marlon Byrd has more to offer than Ludwick, which isn't saying much. He can slug the ball a bit, drive some runs in, play decent defense....

Re: Marvin's #8

I like your enthusiasm, but seriously you know that is an apples to oranges comparison. No salary cap in football to keep you from hoarding talent at specific positions. Just scholarships :)

Re: The Lounge 2.0

He wouldn't be half dead if Dalton didn't force throws to him in traffic with the frequency of Miley Cyrus being on TMZ.

The first INT was atrocious play by AJ, but Dalton put the ball up on his...

Re: Jeremy Hill Offensive Rookie of the Year?

Hill has more total yards than Beckham does. Also he is arguably the 2nd most important player on our offense, and an argument could be made for most important. Kid is a wrecking crew.

Re: Lack of production from the number 2 and 3 receivers is scary

I haven't looked lately, but I was under the impression that Denvers run D isn't so great. Does anyone have any stats they can post?

I love this dude! He blocks at all levels extremely well, and he is starting to become a factor as a receiver. Keep it up Ryan!

Re: For those with visions of post season glory...

1) Geno is getting healthier by the week, so we probably won't get run on as easy as we were against San Diego last year.
