Re: Worst Contract: Domata Peko
Neither could beat Peko in practice, nor could they beat out anyone else in the DL rotation. One of them may replace Peko at the end of his contract, but thus far, neither of them has shown it....

Re: Orson Charles the key?
I personally believe that Charles is too tall to be an effective FB. FBs are usually shorter and able to gain leverage at the point of attack. That's a traditional view, but players are getting...

Re: Worst Contract: Domata Peko
Peko isn't going to produce sacks or make the highlight reel. But, he's solid in run defense and that's why he's there. Someone has to do the dirty work inside. He's clearly better at the position...

Re: Matchups in the passing game.
His blocking wasn't too bad. Most of the time the guy he was blocking was not the guy making the tackle.
It's a man blocking scheme where he's assigned a specific player to block.

Re: "Need" to cut Wharton?
Yeah, it's way too early to even bother with such an article. Now if he wrote it about cutting Jamal Anderson, then I'd understand. The team is super deep at DE.

Re: On the subject of Andy Dalton (yet, again)
Dalton is not as bad as some people make him out to be. Going into last year the team had no #2WR and ended the year with no #2WR. While Sanu made a case that he might become that guy, he ended the...

Re: Poor Matt Barkley
Actually, he could turn out to be the only QB drafted this year who ends up being a starter that will win. Gino Smith with the Jets appears to me as a spectacular bust in the making. What a hell hole...

Re: ESPN Commercials during Bengals picks
Switch to NFL Network. Bengals actually get some love on that channel.
Ladainian Tomlinson said the Bengals were the team most improved in the draft through the first three rounds. He loved the...

Re: I gotta be honest guys...
Hunt was taken because of both starting DEs are going to be free agents at the end of 2013. Draft one now to develop is better than being left with two holes which use to be strengths and having to...

Re: 2nd round Big Board
Personally I'd love for the Bengals to take Lacy and start running the ball more consistently. BJGE can be the backup, imo.
But, there are a ton of options for the Bengals. Cyprien, Watson,...

Re: Bengals First Round Grade
Provides Dalton with a big target that has good hands. Also provides competition for Gresham and gives the team an option at the end of 2014 should Gresham sign elsewhere in FA.
Eifert is better...

Re: Tyrann Mathieu
I'd take him in the later rounds. Would be cheaper and has more ability than Allen had for the team last year.

Re: Rotoworld's assessment on the Bengals Offense
Wow, 22nd. That's low. The RB situation is a situation. Bengals have historically had strong runners. BJGE just doesn't fit that bill for me. Where's an Eddie George or Eric Dickerson when you need...

Re: Whit makes a good point
If Smith doesn't sign, the Bengals will wait until they find one at the right value. Collins can start at RT, but there'll need to be a 4th tackle from somewhere.
