Sometimes it skips a generation. I still have hope that Katie can turn this organization around once Mike becomes too old to be the active owner. From what little I've heard, it sounds like she wants to run the FO more like the other 31 NFL teams.

I know that is why MB claims that he won't hire an outside GM. But Paul Brown didn't own the Browns at the time, did he?

Maybe he takes after his mother? I have no clue, it's as if he really doesn't want to win, how do you not spend some of that money and get a couple quality guys, and fill the holes with the draft? I could do it. It's not really rocket science.

you dont think mike brown wants to win and solidify his dads and his legacy.?

OHHH mike brown is all about the money.. really? why is the stadium named after his dad and not Coke Cola or some other company that would play millions a year for naming rights?

Dude wants to Win. but his is a thankless job. and he thinks he needs to be the one to do it. not some GM. personally i think marvin is being set up to take a promotion. hes that close with the brown family i believe its the direction they are pushing for overall.

Browns have had a GM the whole time they been back in the league.. Has that helped them ??

Policy.. Holmgren.. Still nothing but a 4-12 team that cannot pull the trigger on a trade to make themselves better and build around that 1 player. All the GM talk means nothing unless a program that is put in place to be a elite team.
