Default Morris Claiborne scored 4 out of 50 on Wionderlic

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...the-wonderlic/

Think this will hurt his draft stock much?

lol doubt it. Upside is still to high. Bengals please draft Travis Benjamin W . O from the U. Of Miami. 6"4 in the 3 or 4 round. Ran a 4.39. Can you say Chris henry type of steal.

A long time ago, when I was at UC, I paid my rent for a year on what Allen Harvin (UC R paid me to do his homework. Never loved college football more than I did that year.

Isn't the wonderlic test questions like "A track is 400 meters. If Peter can run 9 meters a second, how long does it take for Peter to run 5 laps" or something like that?

That isn't doctor type math. This is 4th grade math.

Travis Brnjamin is 5'10", believe your thinking of Streeter; both can fly though. Streeter in the 4th round would be great if he lasts that long. Then again, several receivers come to mind from recent drafts in Baylor's David Gettis and South Florida's Carlton Mitchell who both had similar size:speed ratios and went in the 6th.

Patrick Peterson only scored a 9, and AJ Green scored a 10.

As long as he interviews well this won't impact his stock at all.

As Mike Brown said of Reinard Wilson - We're not drafting a Rocket surgeon.

I wonder if one of the questions was "How do you you spell "wonderlic"?"

I will have to go watch some interviews of him now and see if he is a ding dong, or just not great at what ever is on the WL.

Wonderlic scores and NFL success have no direct correlation. Otherwise Pat McInally (50) would be in the HOF and Dan Marino (16) would have never been the (former) NFL single season passing yardage holder. It does tell you something about innate intelligence and personality, but I would think that unless you are an Olineman or QB (who have to think critically in pressure situations) no one cares.

If Claiborne can flip his hips, attack the ball at its highest point, make route read keys, and tackle, he'll be fine. It does speak to LSU and what might be going on at that fine academic institution however...

I doubt he falls out of the top 10 even with this bad score, but that is pathetic.

Be nice for us if this allows him to slip to 17. Would hate it for claiborne to lose $ because of it though.

There is zero percent chance this happens. he will still go top 6. He is an elite talent and no one cares about the Wonderlic unless you are a MLB,QB,C, or safety. And really just the first 3.

Really because if I am not mistaken Dan Marino as well had a very low wonderlic.
