Default New idea to make it easier to follow threads... maybe

Possibly on the User CP there could be a feature that lets you see who has quoted you so you can click on the link and then respond to their response easier.

Not quite what you are looking for, but it's along those lines....

In the User Control Panel, click on Edit Options in the menu. There's a section down the page titled Thread Display Options. Change to either Threaded - which changes the display to a tree-style format - or Hybrid - which combines your current linear format with the tree format at the top of the page.

Try them out and see if it helps you out a bit.
