Bengals WR Chad Ochocinco now has a dislocated pinky along with his cracked rib.

According to his Twitter page, it appears Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco may have dislocated his pinky during Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers. “I wake up, get out of bed and everything hurts, my ankle is swolen, rib still cracked, right hand won’t close, n left pinky dislocated,damn. My pinky finger is going left instead of straight, this is bull****.” Along with his tweet, Ocho provided fans with a picture of what his pinky finger looks like (view at your own risk). After viewing the picture, it makes you wonder what part of the game the injury occurred. In a game played in very poor field conditions due to rain, Ochocinco finished with just four receptions for 34 yards...

We Chad is tough, but like anyone, if you are feeling discomfort, its alot to block out mentally...

We Chad is tough, but like anyone, if you are feeling discomfort, its alot to block out mentally...

I don't think a dislocated pinky is too hard to pop back into place, but the right hand bothers me because I didn't hear about that and that's the only thing that could effect him catching the ball. He's had the rib, and the ankle swelling will go down.

I just hope if jerome plays he doesn't run the WRONG WAY!

I think Chad's playing mind games. I've never seen any of this on some kind of official report.

Do you honestly beleive what Chad says through twitter? But I did see a pic he uploaded of his pinky it looked nasty. I don't beleive the ribs but I saw the pinky.

The team is required by rules to announce even suspected injuries of players, weither or not the extent of the injury is known. It's Chad being Chad, creative with free media outlets at his disposal, got to love it!

At the expense of whos playing time?? I am not disagreeing with you just stating that a play here or there wont show us anything. He needs significant time to learn and earn his paycheck and barring injury there doenst seem to be room.

Because as far as pure athletic talent he is probably the best receiver on our roster. Get over it already. It was not a mystery that the kid was going to be a player to develop. The kid has shown that he absolutely has the talent to play in this league. If you want to harp on someone then maybe harp on Mike Sheppard. I would be willing to bet that if we still had Hue Jackson that we would have seen a much different Jerome Simpson at this point.

What exactly does an IV have to do with a cracked rib and or dislocated pinky? IV is simply to help him avoid cramping issues because of his lack of body fat.

Until this shiney new toy (Jerome) makes its way out of the crisp, clean, undamaged box to prove me wrong, I am entitled to my opinion. Waiting for someone to "develop"...makes it sound like he his Frankenstein waiting for a brain.

True enough we ARE entitled to our opinions.
