I'm sure the idea of health risk was well represented in the negotiations and reflected in the length of the deal.

Landry's deal is probably good for both sides. The Jets don't have a long commitment and Landry gets pretty good money on a one year prove it deal to show he deserves more money or a longer deal next year. That's not a bad outcome for a guy who had no one else looking at him.
