Got the game on ESPN2 up here. Was absolutely thrilled with the results on the field, great start for the team. They said the Reds scored at least one run in every home opener since 1953 when they were shut out, pretty awesome. Nice win.

I loved how we finished strong on offense and idk how many watched and I know it's only game 1 of the season but the combo of chapman and Marshall looks to be nasty...the days of a two run lead in the 9th and still pacing are over

Latos looked pretty good until the 5th. Lots of balls in the dirt. It's ok though. His first start of the season.

I love watching the walk-off wins, but I hope this isn't the theme of this team this year. We need to win convincingly and prove we've got what it takes to go all the way.

Watched the Tigers game today, and they crowed about Fielder, and how that deal would be better than the one the Angels made. Wish you could reach through the screen and remind them we just signed one that could compete with Fielder, and he's a faster, better fielder as well as a clutch hitter. Votto's the man!

Aroldis looks like he's getting it together. I wish the pen was strong enough to have him in the rotation. He doesn't look like he's just up there chucking it as hard as he can anymore.

If, and it's a big IF, Jay Bruce can become more consistent with his greatness at the plate, this team could officially be considered loaded on offense. All it will take is a few lights to go on for guys like Bruce, Stubbs, Cozart, and Mesoraco, maybe even Heisey if he gets the chance and them BOOM: consistent offensive powerhouse in Cincy.
