Actually,....it's completely fine to start a sentence with the word "and", as well as with "but". It does not break ANY grammatical rules. As long as the rest of the sentence follows the rules, you're all good. It was all a myth. Every teacher you had up until 6th grade (which may be as far as you made it), actually had no clue what they were speaking about.

Actually I'm with Woodley this time, believe it or not. Cupcake was smacking the attempt at grammatical correction. But Woodley didn't offer that correction himself - he said he expected you to do it. So when Cupcake smacked it, he wasn't smacking Woodley - he was smacking what Woodley said you'd do. Read it all again carefully, and I think you'll see it.
