So, it is now news when a back up CB will miss some time in training camp. Dre is a future starter, good teams don't count on rookies to save the day.

Didn't the browns lose a DT for season already? You know the Browns who have no depth.

Atleast 6 weeks and if it takes any longer he'll be out 6 weeks of the season....so much for "some time in training camp".

And isn't the only reason the Bengals can even be considered good is becasue of 2 rookies starting last year?

Yeah...it's true. The Bengals would still be stinking up the AFCN with the Browns if it wasn't for Dalton and Green, but Kirkpatrick wasn't being counted on to have to come in and play right away. Honestly, I expect much more out of Zeitler, Still, Sanu, and even Iloka than I did out of Kirkpatrick.

It does blow that he's out for camp though. It would have been nice to see him get some of that valuable camp time in.

Learn how to use the quote function properly, stool stain. I'll play your game; under normal circumstances, good teams don't rely on rookies to start.

And again, a back up CB being injured for maybe a month isn't news - it's reaching to feel important for a fan from an inconsequential team.

Leave Bushy alone!! He has been waiting for weeks for an excuse to start a thread and disappear, why must you rain on his parade?!

Adam Schefter has reported 2-4 weeks, not 6. Even if Kirkpatrick does miss longer,we have a ton of CB depth,so it's not a crippling loss.

Try to keep up Bushy. Bengals were picked a year ago to be one of worst teams in the NFL, so no they were not a good team prior to season starting. Also, Dalton and Green don't play defense. Defense was 7th best in the league.

I will stand by my statement the bengals have transformed into a defensive team with an adequate offense and good special teams. It is Dalton who has to get a lot better before the team is great.

This is not a surprise..only a meathead like bushy would bold a comment to try and make a point, only to miss the point of the comment.

I increased the font size of the key words for you bushy boy.

Not so fast Cupcake. The bengals stench is still lingering strong in the AFCN after 20 yrs of stink. Not much separating them from that cleveland cesspool of an organization...at least the stains had the "expansion team" excuse.

Dont you mean not much separating them from the lowly steelers? Both teams were one and done in the playoffs last season.

Cut Bushy some slack, and walk a mile in his shoes. Imagine if you will, being a Browns fan and attempting to indulge in smack with the other divisional rivals in the AFC North. That takes guts, men!!
