I'm going to add to my russian doll description of roethlisberger.

He's an 8th girl's facebook page, trapped in a bottle of summer's eve, wrapped in an affliction shirt, heavily rotated on a butt-rock radio station, all within the portly torso of a man who doesn't respond well to the word no.

Keep this trash subject off the forums.

It goes nowhere and has absolutely nothing to do with smack.

Or did I just sum up all of Woodley/Meanjoe/GW/Rayne's posts

Lucky for Steeler fans, he also likes to win Superbowls. So, I don't give a crap.
Pretty much. I have a hard time believing that Ben had a partially torn rotator cuff since last year and didn't get it cleaned up in the offseason. He also said that he's still having a hard time picking up Haley's offense,so this is probably just an excuse as to why he doesn't look as good as people think he should in camp.

If true, though, then Ben has basically admitted to the Steelers lying on the weekly injury report during last season, since his shoulder was never listed.

Unless it caused him to miss practice, be limited in practice or has the potential to limit his in game playing time, then it doesn't need to be listed. I don't recall Dalton ever being on the injury report for a "bruised ****" for the injuries he got when he got sacked.

EDIT. a-n-u-s is really censored?

Dalton got sacked a lot less than Big Ben - are you sure it wasn't Ben's rear that was bruised?

It is ridiculous that the official term for butt is censored. Utterly. Ridiculous.

Every QB or MLB Pitcher around the age of 30 or so (even younger really) has a partially torn rotator cuff. It's normal wear and tear, it happens to everyone over time. You don't throw a million times, at that velocity without causing some amount of damage. It's relatively rare that it turns into a full tear, and nobody cleans up a minor partial tear. All it is, is some discomfort that goes away after a few months.

Do Steelers fans worry that Ben's injuries will eventually catch up with him and end his career early? I'm really trying to get your opinion on it here....

I think he's the best AFCN QB at the moment, but he's had a hell of a lot of injuries in his career so far. If it keeps up, I wouldn't be surprised to see his production start slipping.

The CEO of Chic-Fil-A said he was against gay marriage and said that Chic-Fil-A is a very Christian company. Which is why he used the term "Anti-Gay Crusaders" however he never said Tebow was an Anti-Gay crusader. Just that they both love God.

It was bruised from Mendenhall raping him.

Without a doubt. And after this season Dalton will be 2nd best(he's only 3rd right now because he's only been in the NFL 1 year).

Of course. He gets hit far too much as a QB and eventually it will catch up with him.

He's a big guy so I think that helps but hopefully Haley will limit his sack number to somewhere below 40 this year.

As for Ben, come on talking about something that may or may not have happened 10 months later. Ben is a huge drama queen and even your logical fans know it.

He is 30 and not 50. He needs to act like it.
The said on the radio he was ASKED about his shoulder...something the initial report failed to mention...after three days of the local radio idiots going on about why he brought it up.

Answering a question is not being a drama queen.

He is limiting his throwing during and between practices. Both because of this and because he's 30 and is fine tuning his workouts to coincide with his age.

Absolutely...same as I would with any player. Although you probably have another few years until you see any significant drop off. The new offense may add years to his playing time.

Won't that be great!

People say this all the time like he is 7 feet tall weighing 300 lbs. There are other Qb's in the league just as big as him. Heck, the greatest bengal qb of all time (carson) was 6'5" also maybe 10 pounds less. Like colin cowturd said, Big Ben is the toughest QB to ever play the game. Aside from these facts, the wrong hit and his career could be over.

Super, I know he isn't 7 feet tall (though he may have been playing at 300 last year.)

Being huge helps him take hits. That's a fact. But, he's also a tough guy too. It's a combination of both.

Regardless, he could certainly talk a little less about injuries that apparently have no baring on his play.

I agree Greggy. Hard to understand why such a good QB goes out of his way to sing the blues with injuries. Just because someone asks you a question, you don't have to answer and in Ben's case it always comes off making him look melodramatic, this his drama queen personna.

Roberto Clemente was supposedly like that, too.

Roberto was very good, but all time greats is a huge stretch. How about those Pirates tonight? I guess based on their last 20 year history, they should just fold the tent because they are their way down down down again.
