Smack Talk isn't this dead until the Bengals are out of it week 10. The most recent post before this thread was 9 hours ago. It's not even like it's the offseason; IT'S TRAINING CAMP!!! And preseason is just a few days away! I means just a few days ago Ben mention his injured shoulder. That alone should feed the trolls for a week. Yeah it's boring and overblown, but atleast the trolls could try.

You're doing fine.

We're too busy watching the Reds dominate the Pirates and the rest of MLB. There will be plenty of time for us to enjoy your incredibly witty remarks when we are finally graced with the return of actual football in the coming weeks.

If Harrison (ironicly - the guy hit in the leg yesterday) ducked his head into the pitch, would you consider the bean to the head the fault of the pitcher?

Well no kidding. That's like you saying that the "cold sore" or your lip doesn't bother you. Spoiler alert, it's not a cold sore.

If you were a responsible adult you would have told him you had the herpes before you two went all the way.

Geek alert actually.
Sorry to hear about your problems neek, but your analogy should be really directed at trina.
Try and stay on track.

If Goodell was a baseball commisioner a pitcher could throw a strike, but if the batter ducked his head into the ball he would get to walk. It's the picthers/tacklers sole responsibilty to avoid head hits even if batters/running backs look to make helmet contact.

Sigh...are you still crying about this? What's amazing is that after the rules changes, the number of these incidental helmet to helmet hits where you claim the ball carrier is ducking his head into the defender dropped dramatically. I'm not saying incidental helmet to helmet hits don't happen, but to try and make it sound like the team that leads the league in illegal hits just happens to have all these "accidents" is frankly stupid. Your boys lead with the helmet, period. They have for a long time, and they've continued to do so after the practice was banned,so quit crying when they get fined for breaking the rules.

I guess by your logic, horsecollar tackles and facemasks should be legal. After all,the defender COULD be trying to make a legal tackle and grab the facemask or back of the shoulder pads because of a move the ballcarrier made. Heck, legalize clipping and blocks in the back, while we're at it,because he could have tried to hit the guy legally and the other player just ran by him.

Which Pirate was it that leaned into the pitch earlier? That was lame.

I forgot. You're not able to see cheating from the teams you root for.

Yes, pitchers throwing balls at batters legs and head is the most obvious sign the batter is cheating.
