Default Prayer request - UPDATE (yes, already)
On Monday my wife will be having gastric bypass surgery. Keep her in your prayers for a complication free surgery and an uneventful recovery. Her name is Virginia.

We just got some bad news. Our insurance company never informed the doctor of her official approval. So the day she wanted has been booked for someone else. So the surgery needs to be rescheduled. That in and of itself isn't a big deal, but we had a lot of things planned around that date. I now have to re-schedule the time I was going to take off for her surgery, and I had a trip to Cincinnati planned the following week. With tickets to a Reds game. Diamond seat tickets. Plus Virginia was to start a new job at her company when she got back from surgery and now that might change.

Good news. Virginia's boss to be talked to HR and explained that he had no issue with this so HR relented and her surgery is now scheduled for Monday August 13th.

Update

Virginia's surgery is officially scheduled for Monday at 9:45 am.

Also, my grandmother had a stroke in her eye today. While it is not life threatening, she doesn't get around very well, and doesn't hear very well, so she spends a LOT of time reading. She may not be able to do that anymore.
