I'm a huge fan of PPR leagues. Hearusroar and I have run a money league for years now, and always done PPR. We do 1/2 point per reception, and that keeps the RB from over taking all the other positions. I like it bc it rewards picking more versatile players. Guys like LeSean McCoy and Ray Rice are even more valuable when theyre getting half a point per reception...

I'm down for whatever though!

I agree. I like the way we have it now. But some people were asking for a flex spot. In my years of playing a flex spot with no PPR just = everyone drafts as many RBs as they can. Which in a 12 person league = there will never be a FA RB worth a damn. I mean its hard enough to find one without a flex spot. And if we did one it would be WR/TE/RB. But a 1/2 point per reception would make it easier to use a good TE or a WR there and not just ***** out the RB spot. Personally I feel we had awesome competition last year. I mean it was a fight all the way to the end to see who got in the playoffs. So my vote would be to keep it the same as I am lazy. But If we wanted flex I would want PPR in some format.

I would much prefer the PPR over keeping it the same. There was great competition last year because there was no competition. There was no skill involved. Flex adds competition, it adds skill level, and it seperates the men from the boys.

With as many picks as we had last year, if you couldn't draft 2 decent running backs and 2 decent wide receivers, then you probably shouldn't be playing fantasy football. Getting that extra 2 or 3 players that complete your roster to compete for a flex spot week to week and takes care of your bye weeks becomes that much more important. If we leave it the same, I mias well let it auto draft for me. I would have done just as well as everyone else.

Anyway, it sounds like I am complaining, but I want more competition, last year my roster was set for weeks at a time with no changes, there is no fun in that.

0.5 PPR would be my vote.

Im up for whatever, I just need to figure more out on PPR. Never been involved in that.

I lost by half a point in the semi finals I believe to the dude who won it. And I'm pretty sure key injuries played a huge role in that. So of course I disagree, my immense fantasy skill had me poised to win the league but I was foiled by injuries.

Edit: Actually, it was .5 I lost by but it was Bmore's D going for friggin' -1 that screwed me lol.

It is something that should be considered, but I am only 1 of 12 and there is a waiting list to get into this league. So it would have to be a group decision. For me I am all for mining up your best players into our league and make it one of the toughest leagues to play in. I would welcome the competition and hope that I am lucky enough to stay healthy. Obviously we have til next football season to make a decision one way or the other.

Im out of commission Tuesday evenings (I'm in a sand volleyball league). But free other than that. Sunday night would be a good night, I just hope everyone can do that this time (and no hurricanes this time-actually I don't even remember if that was the culprit the last time at this point).

Yeah but we only have 12 spots. So unless someone in our league does not compete or drops out we don't have a spot open. Though I love that idea. Also we have a waiting list. Lol. We have not had any slackers the past few seasons I think.

That's the good part of the idea. The original league stays intact, even the waiting list. The champions league, or whatever it would be called, would just be the top 3 from the other leagues that are running. If a top 3 finisher doesn't want to participate we can just take the next highest finisher from that league and that league would have a revolving list of participants each year. Think of the bragging rights winning THAT league!

We had a slacker our first year. Went 2-12 I think because he never changed his team. However, his two wins came against whodey0731. It was hilarious.

We had one the first few years. Almost every one but the last 2. The same 12 have been in 2 years and this makes 3. What days/times are good for you BD?

Weekends are the best for me. If we do it during the week, then it would have to be at 5 or later.

Cool well we need to set a date. I have heard back form savage of course and he is signed in or will be soon. He had a new email address. I have not heard back from Zane however and looks like he has not been on the site in a few weeks. What should we do?
