Default Andrew Luck's debut

10 of 16 for 188 yards and 2 TDs. His first NFL pass was a 63 yard TD pass. Colts roll over the Rams 38-3. Quite an impressive debut.

He did a great job but the hype over his first pass being a TD is a little too much. He dumped the ball off to Donald Brown behind the line of scrimmage. Brown just ran it 63 yards. ESPN starts off their article with "The No. 1 overall draft pick threw his first NFL pass for a long touchdown" and doesn't even get into the actual play until halfway down lol. Trying a little too hard to make him out to be the next Manning considering Manning's first preseason pass was a TD.

He did look calm and collected on the TD to Collie.

Ugh, wasn't that pass thrown behind the line of scrimmage, lets see him actually throw a 63 yarder, then you can cream your jeans.

Like I said, Collie TD didn't look like a rookie throwing that. Let's just give credit to Donald Brown for that 63 yarder.

He threw the ball so effortlessly. Nice pick by the Colts.

Luck is going to be the real deal. He is smart, football smart, very mobile in the pocket, and already has one of the better arms in the league with the throws that he can make right now. All Indy needs to do is make sure he has a solid line and get a future franchise receiver for him.

Yeah but not all of its on Luck

first play 2 yard dump pass to Donald Brown who then takes it 70+ yards to the house.

Oh trust me... Irsay and his coaches are thinking the very thing you're thinking. Luck is all that he's advertised. I'm very, very, very happy with him!

Uh... I guess you didn't watch the rest of the game?

Go look at the throw he made to Collie. Does that look like a *ROOKIE* throw?

Which is actually good because it shows that the Colts have a running game that has to be respected as well.

One pas won't put him in the H.of F, wait a few years, I agree the kid looked good, but wait until he plays a few good Defenses, he hasn't yet made folks forget #18.

LOL. That's a throw every QB in the NFL can make.

Are you gonna p1ss your pants every time he completes a pass?

Oh... really?

That ex-Bengal QB in Oakland sure can't seem to find his target. Got "picked off" again from what I saw.

How about your own team's QB - Dalton? How'd he do?

The only reason you're saying all this is because... you wish the Bengals QB was Luck instead of Dalton.

It was the Rams. You know, the team that has to look up the word defense because they have no idea what it means.

Luck will be good though. He's an excellent progression read QB and he has the arm to make the tough throws too.

Not many people wouldn't.

AFC North
Ravens fans would take Luck over Flacco.
Browns fans would take Luck because the have nothing.
Unbiased Bengals fans would.
Steelers fans are probably the only ones who wouldn't.

AFC South
Texans fans would because Schaub is in the last year of his deal.
Jags fans would because Gabbert is well Gabbert.
Titans fans might not because Locker has so much potential.

AFC East
Jets fans would
Bills fans definitely would
Dolphins fans would rather have Luck than Tannehill
Pats fans would want Luck to site behind Brady a year or two.

AFC West
Chiefs fans would
Raiders fans would
I'm not sure about Chargers or Broncos fans.

NFC North
Vikings fans would even though Ponder has a lot of potential Luck is better right now.
Bears, Packers, and Lions fans wouldn't.

NFC South
Bucs fans would.
Falcons fans might be getting fed up with Ryan not winning a playoff game yet.
Panthers fans wouldn't.
Saints fans wouldn't.

NFC East
Redskins fans wouldn't.
Fans of every other team would. Vick is fragile, Cowboys fans despise Romo, and even though Eli was great last year I'm sure fans are still skeptical.

NFC West
49ers fans would love him to re-team with Harbaugh.
Seahawks fans wish their team went 1-15.
Cardinals fans wish their team went 0-16.
Rams fans are the only ones who I could see saying no because Bradford's ceiling is still very high.

Agreed Luck will be a monster.
I think Dalton is a good fit for our team right now though. He def has the potential to be a top 10 QB if not top 5.
