This is the easiest keeper decision I've ever seen.

Ray Rice
Roddy White
Jimmy Graham

No question.

Roddy/Cruz is the only tough decision, but I like Roddy's proven history over Cruz's single year so far.

I kinda agree! However, I must also think about the rest of the roster. IE... in your case. Who will I get at QB. I have to assume the top guys will get "picked" as keepers. I did pretty well last year, so I think I pick 7th......which puts me out of getting any of the top draft picks (Luck/Griffin).

So, as much as I don't like Carson, I am thinking of keeping him. He is almost a lock for the starting spot, and they will likely get down in games and need to chuck the ball. Likely resulting in more INT's, but also big yards and TD's.....etc.

White scares me a little with the emergence of Julio.

I currently (just to do it early and not forget), i have Rice, Graham, Palmer...but I can change it whenever.

Rice, Graham, and White are all high #1s at their positions fantasy wise though. Palmer isn't even a low end #1. He's a #2 QB and most rankings have him on the bottom end of those (around #20 QB overall). I'm not in a keeper league the same, ours is a dynasty league where u keep most of your roster, but there's no way I could be convinced to keep Palmer over White.

Not my choice though, just my 2 cents.

Right, but who else would I get for QB. I totally see your point and I may go that way. The QB position is one of the hardest to fill. Only 1 per team and some aren't worth a nickel. There is barely any chance for a "sleeper" QB. I could get a sleeper WR or RB.

Also, as much as I don't care for Palmer all that much, he almost HAS to be better this year compared to last with a full preseason and not coming to the team late....etc.

How many teams in the league? I would keep rice, graham and Cruz. Roddy has been consistent, no doubt, but I think I'd rather have the longer term career of Cruz. I bet there is not much difference between them statistically this year.

Then absolutely drop Palmer. You can get him, jay cutler or a similar type qb with your first pick if you don't want to wait. You might get those guys in the second or third even, though you know your league better than I do obviously. I wouldn't sweat the qb spot too much though.

Then I stand corrected. There was a statistical difference between the 2. And one is trending up while one is plateauing. I had both last year and would keep Cruz, IMHO.

QB is a pretty top scorer. I agree I could get someone like that, but if others are thinking the same thing.... I pick 9th..... could be pretty slim pickin's

IMO, a 3 team keeper has to be treated like the first 3 rounds of a draft with no keepers. You have 4 options at that would be taken in a normal fantasy draft in the first 3 rounds. Rice, White, Cruz, and Graham.

I would take Rice, White, and Graham. There are still going to be plenty of quality QBs available better than Palmer, and if there isn't, just draft him again, he will most likely still be there 3-4 rounds into your draft, he is a backup in any draft so far.

I would think that Matt Ryan, Jay Cutler, Peyton Manning, would be available with even Romo, Eli Manning, and Philip Rivers possibly.

I think you (and others) are right. I am just afraid that everyone will hold onto there QB.

I would think of the above, only Cutler might be available after the keepers and by the 9th pick

Yes they are. But how many teams picking before you will keep a qb? There are at least 5 sure fire keeper qbs. In no order Rodgers, brees, Brady, stafford and newton. I could see Eli, Ryan, romo and possibly rapist burger and rivers. That's up to ten, leaving you Palmer and cutler if you view them as the best. Teams set at qb will look to stock their team elsewhere before taking a second qb unless someone really values the upside of rg3 or luck. Trust me, you will have options similar to Palmer at your pick while keeping your 3 studs.

This is fairly easy- White, Rice, Graham.

Cruz had a great year last year... but it will be tough- most likely impossible- for him to repeat that performance. Out of his 9 touchdowns, 8 of them were outside of 20 yards. Think about that. Plus, Nicks is the superior talent out in NY- especially in the red zone. Cruz will have a good season, but he is being drafted like he will have a great one.

TBT- You can not keep Palmer. He is currently the 20th Quarterback being taken. Assuming your league does not start two QB's you will have some great options.

Rodgers, Brees, Brady, Newton, Stafford will all be kept no question. But then you have Rivers, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Matt Ryan, Tony Romo, Matt Schaub, Big Ben, Jay cutler.

That is 13 QB's right there that have much better ADP's than Carson Palmer.

Even then, i wouldn't say it is a "must" to draft one in the 1st round, but that all depends on who the other people keep. You have 3 players with ADP of 25 or higher... and another (Cruz) that is being drafted within the top 40.

Palmer is going in the 11th and 12th rounds.....

(Keep in mind, Fantasy Football is won with one word "value")
