Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that the Seattle Seahawks have informed backup QB Tarvaris Jackson that the team will be looking to trade him this week.
With Matt Flynn likely to win the starting job and rookie Russel Wilson making impressive strides, the team no longer needs to keep Jackson and his $4 million salary on their books. Jackson will almost certainly have to renegotiate his current deal to facilitate a trade out of Seattle. The Packers are*continually mentioned as being a possible option for any available quarterback, so that’s at least one possibility. http://nfltraderumors.co/seahawks-lo...son-this-week/ That'd be sweet if Bengals got him, he'd be a good backup Last edited by Trademark; 08-19-2012 at 12:32 PM. |

I'll laugh my butt off if the Browns or the Jets sign Tarvaris Jackson. Why not make it a three-way quarterback controversy in Cleveland or New York?

It would definitely make me feel better about our backup QB if we got Jackson. Gradkowski worries me very much. He's done his job; Dalton knows the system now, so Grad is of no use imo.
