Sometimes, guys just get hurt based on freak accidents, which is pretty much what happened to DeCastro. Reviewing the play,Pouncey got fooled and pretty much stood there shuffling in space for several seconds and then tries to double team DeCastro's man. When Pouncey goes to double team,a Bill LB on a blitz runs up the back of Darius,DeCastro loses his footing and then Gilbert gets chucked right on top of him. I will say that it looked like a botched assignment by Pouncey, who should have picked up Darius and left DeCastro free to pick up the blitzing LB.

I gather from sportsline.com (CBS) that DeCastro tore his MCL but not his ACL - not as bad as it initially looked. He'll still miss a lot of time but not like he would with an ACL tear.

We got in Patrick. You think DeCastro was an unimportant pick and will be irrelevent in his NFL career.

What I've seen is that he tore his MCL,dislocated his kneecap, and also damaged his pateller tendon. At least that's the preliminary diagnosis with an MRI due on Monday. Estimated recovery time right now is 3-5 months, depending on how his MRI turns out. So,best case,he can make it back for the last 4 games of the season, worst case,he's gone for the year. The Steelers would be smart to just stick the guy on IR and not try to rush him back late in the year.

Nope because normal predictions would have the Bengals missing the playoffs again regularly as long as Mike Brown still breathes.

The DeCastro pick became a bad choice last night. He has no shot at success in 2012. His career is off to a rough start to say the least. But, look at the bright side foe him, if he is lucky he may start a game in 2013.

What? I wasn't even arguing about that. I was talking about DeCastro being the most important pick in a while with Wet. He was definitely an important pick but so were other guys in recent memory. The Steelers have drafted at positions of need before this recently as well.

They had a choice. Zeitler or DeCastro and chose the guy who is going to either not play or be a liability based on him not being physical enough.

My point is simple. Your boy Colbert made the wrong choice and was out smarted by the Bengals who passed on DeCastro not once, but twice.

5 minutes into the game you appear to have lost your starting guard for the season, lost Rey and Dunlap.

This was the original post in question, of which you pansies claim I am celebrating an injury. It is clear I am celebrating the fact that football gods (if there is one, if this turns into a R/P argument I'm out of here faster than Rey Maualuga hits 3 parked cars and a parking meter) hates your team/fanbase.
It was a play on the bengals seemingly endless bad luck.

There was nothing more to that post. You're moronic if you believe so.

I don't know why you're saying all this to me, there's plenty other people in this thread who are arguing this issue, but I wasn't one of them.

You just jumped in on the discussion Wet and I were having and now it seems like you're trying to bait me into your fight.

Pouncey and Foster were the only 2 lineman who deserved to retain their spots this year based upon performance last year.

LoL i want you to go a cancer ward and celebrate the fact that the cancer gods hate the unfortunate people in the hospital beds.

And then try to explain why you're not a bad person.

We're arguing over the definition of "a while", which is silly. But you want to be right about something in light of your team's misfortune so have it. walk tall.

If the steelers don't put decastro on IR and try to rush him back to play in december than their line is worse than any steeler fan realizes.

Joe from Flo, comparing cancer patients to football fans. You have to be kidding.

Your stupidity is just ...wow. Just leaves me speechless.
This is why I almost never respond to your garbage, it's just so stupid.

Seriously, get a clue man. Maybe that spray on tan crap is getting to you

I can explain the difference between the two.

You can't explain the difference between being happy about an injury to an opposing team's player and laughing about the "football gods" causing such injury. Perhaps because there is none.

I will no longer justify your dumb statements with any more responses after this one, you are no longer worth any time, honest to god you are so dumb. Seriously, you are just amazingly incapable of any reasoning.

Ps, I work the ER and frequently treat cancer patients who come in with acute symptoms. I know full well the difference between the two. For you to come in here and use such an example to try and help your point is just insanely dumb. You're comparing life and death to laughing at a fan base for their misfortune every time they prop up their team.

You need help. Allow me to offer you a good start; Control Panel > Uninstall a program > Windows Explorer/Google Chrome/Firefox. Uninstall.

Ps Joe from Flo, Hows Carson Palmer/Sam Adams/Madieu Williams doing?

I have to use absurd examples to show you how absurd you're being. and it still didn't work. you still didn't explain yourself.

there are no football gods. there is no scapegoat you can use to justify celebrating injuries to an opposing player. you can only admit that is the type of person you are.
