Im hearing rumblings that the new Madden does not offer Franchise Mode?!
IS THIS TRUE?! What are your optins of game play on this new game??? I for one am completely upset with this decision from the creators... I don't care about playing people online nor do I have online for that particular reason (besides back in the Halo days). Is there anything fun to do besides play online in the new game?

If you choose the role of a coach, you perform the expected tasks of a coach, ie: cut down days, free agent signings, etc. Gone are the more owner-oriented tasks of stadium upgrades, ticket prices, etc. What's really cool about it is that if you fail at completing certain tasks throughout your season as a coach, you will be fired. I have run through a whole season as an undrafted WR for the Bengals, playing only KR and Kickoff coverage, due to an initial low rating and being #5 on depth chart, the team finished 4-11-1 and Marvin Lewis was canned immediately, lol. Some fat dude took over and brought the Patriots playbook with him.

I used to buy Madden every year but I didnt get it in 11 because they changed almost nothing but controls compared to 10, I did buy it last year as it felt like a different game compared to the year before but this year I refused to get it knowing it doesn't have draft exporting with ncaa football, and of course they didnt allow for draft classes on ncaa this year as well and for me that was the biggest feature of the game but it seems like ea is shoving online features and play down everyones throats now where they dont want you to notice anything else
