Default Do you find female sports announcers <NFL> believable?

Is it just me, or does anyone else get annoyed listening to Pam Oliver and Jilian Barbarie types discussing football with the players on the field. I love women, but when ...say "the Goose" is talking with the guys I seem to listen better....does that make sense?

I believe that I would like a few hours alone with Erin Andrews, Michelle Beadle, Lindsay Soto, and Charissa Thompson.

Erin Andrews, brb...

Personally I don't give a **** as long as they know what they are talking about but my fiancee hates women on the field. I don't know why either. She fancies herself a pretty liberal person.

Like most things, it all depends.

Suzy Kolber tried to play football and know more than most of us. Most of the rest is supposed to be (or used to be) eye candy.

Do they still let women in the locker rooms to do interviews? I think that is weird; and would never happen the other way around. If it did I would be reporting about the Brazillian women's volley ball team every day.

I think most sports that allow reporters in the locker room allow members of both sexes. The only difference probably is when they all reporters in.

Does anyone else remember when the Jets had some female reporter all upset because of something that happened in the locker room? It only takes one to ruin it for everyone. You know when she took the job that her plan all along was to say she was harassed off-camera in the locker room.

I don't like it because none of them are former coaches. Coaches know the plays, can evaluate talent, and can gauge the climate of a locker room. Most sportscasters who weren't coaches annoy me to some degree, and since none of the women who report are former coaches, that includes them.

Well I don't have a problem with anyone who knows thier stuff talking about football...its just my attention span drops when a woman starts talking and asking questions about "grinding one out", "pushing the team" ect ect.

Rachel Nichols knows her **** to death and looks good doing it.
As mentioned, Kolber knows the game well as well.

Hell, Nikki Benz knows the game well, and she's a pornstar; aside from the Fox series she did, they should have seriously considered getting her on the field, though that would've been a PR disaster I'm sure lol

are you talking the girls on the field doing interviews?

nothing wrong with looking at a pretty face that you can still see the action behind. (goose blocks the view of the field)

It's just you. Most guys want to see or hear pretty women on the sidelines, that is why most teams have cheerleaders.

Well, women actually know about sports, as surprising as that is. The only thing that bothers me is when they ask stupid, obvious questions. Like, "You're passing game struggled. Are you going to work on that?"
But everyone is forced to ask those questions

I like it when they demonstrate the center quarterback snap exchange.

The female correspondents seem to be reading from a script, even when asking questions. It just doesn't seem sincere or like they know what they are talking about.

The guys usually seem more legit.

I definately wonder at times if they know a damn thing they are talking about.

But i love pretty women, Pam Oliver is not a pretty woman though.

And Goose is more annoying than any woman i see on the field.
