And I get that wholly, If you value Stafford more, then so be it....that's why I am not vetoing it, more just jealous boyfriending it, lol......Just would have thought you could have gotten a RB or WR at least

Lol. Well. I thought about a RB but I figured it would be tough to work out a trade for an elite one. I'm okay with the ones I have now. I figured Gronk would be a huge upgrade, so I took it. Tamme has potential to be really good, but I seriously doubt he puts up Gronk type numbers.

You should have "Mike Brown"'ed it, lol, Just hold onto Rodgers until the weeks (1-3) QB injuries happen and then gotten a 1st and 2nd round pick for him from the Raiders.

- Gronkowski was a major improvement to my starting lineup. He puts up RB1 stats from the TE spot.

- The only other trade I was offered was Rivers, Helu, and B Celek for Stafford. None of those players would've even consistently started for me.

- I tried to think of a deal to offer Toast, but I had my doubts that he would want to part with a combination of Sproles and a top WR.

- I tried to trade Rodgers for Megatron but it was denied.

- Why would I need Tamme when I now have Gronkowski? There are several guys available on waivers that will probably produce on a similar level as Tamme.

- I get the initial shock, but I had to do something before the season starts. It's hard to get fair value when you only have 2-3 teams (at most) that will even want an upgrade at QB.

Basically, this is why I hate doing auto-draft. Still, I love my starting lineup now.

I just don't get why the deal wasn't for Stafford and Tamme. That would have been fair. I know you're trying to improve your team but Rodgers is a legitimate top 3 pick in every draft. And with this being 6pt per TD across the board he's even more valuable. To each their own but I would have shopped him around more until I got a better offer. Actually I probably would have shopped Stafford and kept him.

Fwiw, Had I known you were shopping Rodgers I would have offered you something like Brandon Marshall, Vick and Antonio Gates. Or you could have subbed Sproles for Marshall if you wanted. I probably would have given Gates and Rivers for Stafford and Tamme. Oh well, I guess I should have been more proactive.

So let me get this straight. Shake drafted Rodgers 2nd overall to basically trade him for Gronk leaving me the option to draft Rice, which I did?

I'm cool with it. Thanks Shake! lol ..You just better hope Stafford holds up again this year.

I may wind up regretting being so hasty to make the trade, but I really wanted to get something done before the season. I could have held out for a better offer, but there was some risk involved had I opted to do that. As for Stafford vs Rodgers, I just felt like it would've been much harder to trade him and get a difference maker like Gronk. I have Stafford rated as a top 3 fantasy QB this year, so I'm just as happy with him as I would be with Rodgers. I really think the Lions will still pass as much as any team in the league and Stafford has a good chance to top 5k yards again.

Btw. I would have taken that trade you just mentioned. I thought you knew that both my QBs were available.

Ya, I would have waited on something better than that. Gronk is a beast but Rodgers has been the top scoring player for like the last 3 years...

Having to throw another player in with him is just absurd...

Well, I feel slightly better now. After the trade Amish dropped Matt Schaub and I picked him up. So basically, I traded Rodgers and Tamme for Schaub and Gronk. That might not be exact value, but it sounds a little better.

With all the flack I'm getting for "the trade", it's going to that much sweeter when I win this league.

Looks like 4 of the 5 games will come down tonight. Toast and I are in a battle tho. I am down by 5.5 with Rice to go while he has Gates.

Yep, and the 1 of of 5 that is over involves me dominating, just like last year...

I only need Law Firm to get 5.5 tonight. It will take a pretty ugly game for me not to win.

your running backs are not the class of your draft??

1-0. I think. 4-1 altogether this week, and I'm pretty sure this league isn't the one that I lost. Good luck this coming week, all!

My team isn't looking all that hot either. Brady hasn't performed like Brady should and my RB's are all hurt. It's sad when my healthiest RB is Frank Gore.
