I was just wondering who's rooting for who tonight?
I'm a die hard Buckeyes fan, but I HATE the SEC. So, though it's hard for me to believe, I'll be rooting for Michigan to whoop on 'Bama tonight! I'd love to hear from you all. Last edited by BengalzHacker; 09-01-2012 at 07:40 PM. |

Go Blue!
If it were Ohio State playing Alabama though, I would still want Alabama to lose. I hate the Buckeyes more than I hate the Pittsburgh Steelers, but I can't bring myself to root for the SEC. I always go Big Ten. I do hope that the Buckeyes lose every single one of those games though....

Just think about how bad it would be if osu were playing them. We did beat you last year and I know shoelace sux, he can't hit anything but the ground.

I'm an Ohio State fan as well as an alumnus and I have one thing to say about the Alabama - Michigan game: ROLL TIDE!

Dude, not a single Big Ten team could hang with Alabama, and OSU is probably the 4th or 5th best team in the conference. They would have gotten destroyed too. Either way, it's no less embarassing.

I always root for other Big 10 teams to do well outside of the conference and would love to see Michigan win. Tired of the SEC dominance for the last decade, well Florida, LSU, and Alabama dominance more like it with a year of Cam Newton sprinkled in there, I mean Auburn.

Yes, well Alabama seems to have taken their foot off of the gas, after getting a 31-0 lead...

Bragging rights after beating Michigan, but more importantly a tune up season before we start dominating the Big 10 once again next year going for the national title. In Meyer I trust.

1) 12-0
2) The #1 ranking in the AP Poll 3) A win over M!chig@n 4) Recruits & experience for a young team A one-year hiatus from meaningless bowls does not a bragging point make. "We're bowl eligible!" is hardly a taunt worth reading. It's cute that you tried though.

Anyway, I think you're confusing the teams. You asked what they were playing for. I answered. All of those goals are intact for Ohio State. M!ch!g@n, however, rendered themselves incapable of half of that list with their performance yesterday. I'm not going to apologize for answering your question, but I will enjoy watching both Ohio State and M!ch!g@n prove this season what I think we all know about last season -- that 2011 was a fluke for both teams.

But, you're right,....the Wolverines stunk it up last night. You're delusional, however, if you think that any Big Ten team would have done much better (if better at all). November 24 can't come soon enough though, one more year of bragging rights to the victor, one more year of waiting til next year for the loser. We'll see if it's a fluke, and for all I know...you could be right. Michigan hasn't been a model program the last half decade after all. I will tell you this, they're far better than you're assuming, and with the recruit classes that both schools have had the last couple of years, the rivalry should be pretty hot for a while.

[quote=Johnny Cupcakes;2584183]No, lol is just something that people say on message boards when another poster posts something completely ridiculous. To think that O$U will be playing for an undefeated season this November is just silly. Now, I know......Michigan can't make that mark either, but they'll still finish better than O$U this year.

Michigan not likely as bad as they looked last night, but imo, were overrated for the purposes of building excitement for last night's game. On another note, once Oh. State pefects that hurry up offense, the rest of the conference is in for some serious beatings.
