Seattle was the other team that I was thinking of going with. I wrestled with my decision for hours. I think Seattle will likely work out well for you.

that would work best, the only thing i could think of is doing a screenshot and posting it on here but i dont know how clear it would be to fit everything on it?

in one of the pools I entered for this at my local sports bar, you had to pick all 17 weeks in advance, they call it blind luck so my picks for this will be pretty much based off that

Oooh....that sounds tough. If you make it all the way to week 17 in that one, you should get a big *** medal! I've done them a few times before, and I think the farthest I've ever gotten was week 10 or so. Other than that....I'm usually out of it by the end of September. Never done one in which you pick them all before the season starts. Doing it that way, I think it would be better to count each correct answer as a point and see who has the most at the end.

haha well there is something better than a medal, that pool is $10 per entry and apparently there's supposed to be about 100 people in it so survivng that will be more than rewarding lol

also last year I had 3 entries in a week to week one like this and it was $20 per entry and I managed to go 10 weeks until I had 2 left and it was such a brutal week too, I ended up taking Philadelphia over Arizona with both my picks after I never picked the same team more than once in the same week all year but that week was so brutal I felt I had no choice and of course Arzona won that game snapping their 12 game road losing streak - that was also the week Baltimore lost in Seattle, and just picking straight up I only had 6 games right that week and about 3 or 4 of them were teams I already used so I was screwed no matter what I did (there were 32 entries and one of my friends put in 8 of them and he won with 3 left) but I entered that pool again with 3 entries this year

ironically in the 3 years before that, I lost every time picking the Bengals - in 2008 I had the Bengals Week 1 in Baltimore and lost, in 2009 I had the Bengals Week 1 vs Denver and lost on Hall's Immaculate Deflection and in 2010 I had the Bengals Week 5 vs Tampa Bay and lost on Palmer's picks (that was the game where I personally lost faith in Palmer for good)

so because of that I now have 3 rules
1. No road teams
2. No Bengals - I will break this Week 5 when they play Miami testing my past with fate yet again (2010 same week )
3. No picking the same team more than once in a week

I am going with Sea as I would rather save other teams and its the most obvious win to me.

It too late for me to get in on this?

No. I started it a little late, so I'm just gonna keep it open for anyone new up until an hour before the Bengals/Ravens game. You just can't pick a team that's already played, of course. I'll mark you down for some Chicago love!

If anyone makes it all the way to the playoffs, it starts over again, and if you make it to the Super Bowl,.....well I'll give you 6 whopping rep points. If you don't join up the first week, then you aren't in at all. If you forget, until sunday afternoon, then you can only choose from the teams who have not started playing their game yet. If you want to pick one of the teams from a game that gets played earlier in the week, you obviously have to have your pick in before that game. Your pick must be posted in the weekly thread and not edited at all for any reason. That keeps it fair. So pick your winner, have fun, and good luck.
