Seattle was the other team that I was thinking of going with. I wrestled with my decision for hours. I think Seattle will likely work out well for you.

in one of the pools I entered for this at my local sports bar, you had to pick all 17 weeks in advance, they call it blind luck so my picks for this will be pretty much based off that |

also last year I had 3 entries in a week to week one like this and it was $20 per entry and I managed to go 10 weeks until I had 2 left and it was such a brutal week too, I ended up taking Philadelphia over Arizona with both my picks after I never picked the same team more than once in the same week all year but that week was so brutal I felt I had no choice and of course Arzona won that game snapping their 12 game road losing streak - that was also the week Baltimore lost in Seattle, and just picking straight up I only had 6 games right that week and about 3 or 4 of them were teams I already used so I was screwed no matter what I did (there were 32 entries and one of my friends put in 8 of them and he won with 3 left) but I entered that pool again with 3 entries this year ironically in the 3 years before that, I lost every time picking the Bengals - in 2008 I had the Bengals Week 1 in Baltimore and lost, in 2009 I had the Bengals Week 1 vs Denver and lost on Hall's Immaculate Deflection and in 2010 I had the Bengals Week 5 vs Tampa Bay and lost on Palmer's picks (that was the game where I personally lost faith in Palmer for good) so because of that I now have 3 rules 1. No road teams 2. No Bengals - I will break this Week 5 when they play Miami testing my past with fate yet again (2010 same week )3. No picking the same team more than once in a week Last edited by Bengals Mike; 09-05-2012 at 06:13 PM. |

I am going with Sea as I would rather save other teams and its the most obvious win to me.

It too late for me to get in on this?
If not, I'll take the Bears.

No. I started it a little late, so I'm just gonna keep it open for anyone new up until an hour before the Bengals/Ravens game. You just can't pick a team that's already played, of course. I'll mark you down for some Chicago love!
