Default Official 2012 NOT-Buckeyes Thread

For those of us with teams outside the Columbus, OH area. Surprisingly, these places do exist.

So how did your teams fair opening weekend? Happy with the results? nervous? depressed?

I love how Louisville looked. There were moments that they wanted to give the game to UK, but still pretty much owned them. I'm worried about how much the D gives up everything under 10 yards, but the offense was very efficient. Teddy Bridgewater is a future star

If LSU did a better job in pass pro I would say they did great, but right now I would just say they were pretty good. Luckily the first game that might be tough is South Carolina in week 7, so they have time to get settled.

My team was booked as a cupcake game and almost pulled the upset. So I'm happy with that.

Both Iowa and Notre Dame won this past weekend! I'm pleasantly surprised by how ND rolled Navy and am a little more than apprehensive regarding Iowa's team this year. We'll see how this weekend goes for both teams!

My "other" team plays tomorrow. I hope UC kicks Pitt up and down the field all night long.

Hey your Miami team has a good qb. Heard before the game on tv 26 NFL teams came to watch him practice this offseason, and Meyer even said in his press conference he will be in the NFL one day.

My bobcats beat Penn state, probably the hardest team on our schedule. Pretty good weekend I would say.

I second this WVU looked good, but add that Marshall looked that bad they couldnt tackle at all. Alston was dragging people over the first down markers and then some lol.

Well, I got what I wanted. But it is hard to judge UC on that game since Pitt also lost to FCS Youngstown State last week.

Pitt just looks SOOOO slow. It's hard to watch them. And I don't know if the Bearcats are truly that fast, or if it was Pitt being slow, but man the DE's for UC were just blowing by the O line of Pitt.

I don't thing this game was necessarily a good barometer for the Bearcats though. But they should easily compete for at least a share of another Big East title.

Louisville will be the real test. I think the winner of that game will likely win the Big East.

LSU did a better job in pass pro, so I will say they did great.

Outside of Michigan State, all of the contenders for the Big 10 title looked kinda bad today.

Also, lol at the Penn State kicker.

Toledo beat Wyoming 34-31. Decent win for the MAC, almost beat Arizona last wek.

Hard to say, being an FSU fan.....we really haven't played anyone yet. That said, I ain't nervous, and sure ain't depressed. We look tuned up and ready to go with our young o-line having a season under its belt. The defense is scary good. If they can keep EJ Manuel off his fanny, we'll be hard to handle. It's good to be back on the football radar in Tallahassee again, it's been a while.....
