My prediction is the over. Dalton throws for a couple TD's RG3 follows suit, total lands in the high 60's.

RG3 is already a better QB than Dalton will ever be.

However, he should stick to playing football and not crying on blogs. Or, at least get more attention on camera like Big Ben does.

Dalton has more career wins. coltsfan4ever says that makes Dalton the better QB.

Coltsfan4ever also thinks quotations and exclamation points are used on random words.

Aren't you the one saying DeCastro will definitley have a better career than Zeitler and is definitely the best guard to come out of the draft since Hutchinson..

How is that working out so far?

Show me a link where I said either of those things.

I said DeCastro was a better prospect (which he was.)

What a wrote months ago, btw.

Pretty much spot on if DeCastro's knee didn't turn around.

Quote:
Home run for the Steelers. Guy they targeted early and had aspirations of trading up for. Rumor is Colbert is higher on DeCastro than he was on Pouncey. Time will tell but the Steelers line is getting young and better. Anytime you add the highest rated Pac10 block graded lineman ever, you know you've got something special. Now if Ben can just get rid of the ball a couple times a year...

Solid picks for the Bengals though drafting a CB at 17 that can't force turnovers is a bit of a question mark. Like the value of the guard at 27 though.

Brown got a dominate back in Richardson. I'm very high on him and he'll be a problem for the AFCN though I bet he wishes he went to another division that doesn't pride itself on stopping the run. They needed a QB and he is old but he has a cannon and makes good choices. Right now he's a better player than Dalton was entering the season. Both are very smart but the old man has better physical intangibles. Probably starter day 1 there.

Ravens always do something with their first. Not a deep draft as Colbert said there was only 8 true first rounders (20 last year) on their board so probably the right move. They're a good team and have no real reason to reach once the guards and Hightower were off the board.

No problem, Greggy in your mind you have never insuiated DeCastro would be better than DeCastro.

Oh and again how is DeCastro performing so far? I missed your answer.

On a seperate note just read Raiders gave uo over 250 yards running to Dolphins. I know Steelers run game is bad, but even they should be able to put up at least 150 tomorrow on the ground.

Good. An injured DeCastro is still better than zeitler.

Actually, there is a problem since you can't find the link.

He is injured. Why would you need me to answer how hes doing?

Though, I can tell you he didn't give up two sacks in his first real game.

It's a passing NFL and we have the best QB in the AFCN. Ain't worried about it, bro.

Let's not forget easily the best receiving core in the AFCN, arguably the entire AFC. And it doesn't hurt that we use our TEs effectively too.

And if Mendenhall comes back this week, maybe just maybe the running game will pick up.

He was designated as out by Mike Tomlin.

But that's a moot point. Fact of the matter is for both you and 6andcounting, you both took the bait and jumped on the bandwagon.
Greggy owned him, there was no need to jump on. It makes it appear as though you're reaching for answers.

And for the record, Dwyer appears to be our best back. Including Mendy.
Dwyer is the only one who runs with authority; He knows where he is going, he doesn't hesitate or dance. He just goes. Furthermore, if you look at our drafting strategy, it's more than obvious that our coaching staff and GM doesn't give half a crap about the run game. If you think they genuinely wanted to improve the run game with our last draft, you had better check again; DeCastro and Mike Adams are both far better suited in pass Pro than run blocking.
This is why it's not only too early, but really apples to oranges. DeCastro has the potential to be the next Steve Hutchinson. Zeitler has the potential to be the next Alan Faneca.
They're different types. Apples to oranges. All I know is that if you want to be a passing team, you take DeCastro, Heavy running team = Zeitler.

If anything, the Bengals selection is more of a statement of what they think of Andy Dalton than anything else

No I don't think I took any bait. Right now running up the middle or off tackle is not working very well. Mendenhall at least has the speed to brake to the outside if he has too. Don't get me wrong, I think Redman and Dwyer are quality backs, but they lack the speed imo to get outside. Granted the Steelers have become a passing offense, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to run when you have too.

Adding the fact that our receiving core is one of, if not the single, best in the AFC is taking "bait" and jumping on the bandwagon?

I doubt Greggy was offended I added to his point.

Not enough data. We'll see where teams stand after week 5. That's almost 1/3 of the season.

Your claims are not fact. They are homeristic opinions.

Fact is, 1 team has to be the best and 1 has to be the worst. Same with receiving cores. You have done nothing to refute that fact that the Steelers, spot for spot, have one of, if the the most, talented groups in the AFC. I'm looking forward to your assessment after week 5, but I don't see any team that can match what the Steelers can do with their top 4 guys - well, our only 4 guys I guess.
