No. They clinched a PLAYOFF BERTH. But not the division title yet. The magic number is one. The cardinals play at 1 so it might be clinched before the reds even play today at 4.

(The Cardinals play the cubs so probably not, although they managed to lose to the cubs last night)

Does Baker need heart surgery? if thats the case my prayers are with him. Speier appears to be overmatched if thats the case we could have a short appearance in the playoffs. Baker appears to be a better manager than I initially thought get well soon dusty.

Cards had to score one in the top of the ninth to tie it. Bottom of ninth right now.....

Fox Sports Ohio was supposed to air the celebration. From 7:30 to 8:30 they scrolled at the bottom of the screen that the coverage would begin shortly. Then around 8:30 they said due to technical difficulties it would not air until Monday at 8pm.

I know these are the mlb branded shirts but do they have division title shirts with just the champion logo with the plate in the bottom left corner of the gray shirt?

last time I ordered the shirt minutes after Bruce homered to clinch but this year I'm holding out for other shirts (LCS? World Series?) before I get these this year

and on a personal note I never got to experience or watch the playoffs 2 years ago with my brother passing away on the final sunday of the season and the Reds being eliminated before I paid attention again so I hope this is the start of what is truly a Red October for all of us

Anybody have tickets to the Divisional Round? I tried calling in for some but the lines were busy all morning yesterday, and they are now at "standing room only."

Figured I might be able to sneak away with some thanks to the iPhone release...But alas.

Let's go Reds!!!

Man, that is tough. My best friend has tickets. He just called me an hour ago bragging about getting tickets to the Divisional Round. He said he bought an extra one for me, but his wife wants to go. His wife hates anything related to sports. So she gets to go, but I don't.

Bailey is pitching a lot better lately. Gonna really need him to show up in the playoffs.

Isn't that the way it goes? I"m gonna check with my friend who's a season ticket holder to see if I can bum some off of her, haha. Stubhub just wants to willingly pummel me from behind for some, lol.

No. They are one game back in the loss column. To get the #1 seed, the Reds need to finish one game better than Washington.
