An error and a walk away from a perfect game :(.

But still an outstanding pitching effort by Homer. I hope this is him just getting warmed up for the playoffs.

Congratulations to Homer and the rest of our Cincinnati Reds!
Yes...it still counts if it's against the Pirates!
Great to have him showing up strong going into the playoffs!

I've only met 2 people in my life named "Homer"......both were from Ohio.
Homer Bailey, (however), is from Texas?

He was pretty damn close last night. You guys think this is just a good couple months streak for him, or has he finally become the #7 overall pick phenom Ace that he had been touted for years as being? (btw, doesn't Bailey look a helluva lot like Bale from Batman??)

Homer looks pretty darn legit here lately. Darn shame he hasn't been getting any run support, he HAS to pitch a no-hitter to win a damn game it appears. IF they somehow pull out game 5, he's gonna be a big key the rest of the way; I just hope we get to see him on the mound again this season.
