Default Bring Back the Replacement Refs!

Eagles vs Steeler refs are worse than replacement refs.

I thought the 10 minute ref meetings were supposed to be gone with the replacement refs? The refs of the Steeler game needed to have a discussion to figure out you can't have defensive pass interference on a called run.

The 1st half was rediculous, a penalty after every play even when their wasn't an actual penalty. But this thread was made at half time, right after an Eagles defender threw Antonio Browns shoe 10 yards away (as the clock was running down with the Steelers needing to spike it) and the refs didn't didn't flag it.

Maybe it smelled bad.

I didn't see any of the Bengals game, what happened?

ESPN literally pointed out every questionable call from every game that weekend after the Packers situation. With the regular refs back, they will go out of their way to not criticize the refs.

Either way someone needed to put the shoe up that ref's ***. Although Brown couldn't of done it because it was nowhere near him.

Do you think he would have been able to score a touchdown today if he had been allowed to wear shoes?

It's not his fault he torched Asamough to the endzone and Ben over threw it.

There were three really close replays that Miami wound up on the short end of. The first came after a Bengals' punt hit a Miami player in the back and Vontaze Burfict fell on it as it went out of bounds. It was rule a recovery for the Bengals on the field, but on replay,it looked like he might not have had full control of it before he went out,but the play was upheld. The second was a fumble by AJ Green where the ball was knocked loose by a defender's helmet,Green juggled it for a second, then it popped out again as he went to the ground and Miami fell on it. It was ruled a fumble on the field, but was overturned. Pretty terrible overturn,IMO. There was no conclusive evidence to say that he totally regained control,so it should have stood as called on the field. The third was Jeromy Miles knocking a punt back off the goalline so it could be downed at the 2 yard line. It was ruled down at the 2 on the field, but it looked like he may have had his foot on the line on replay, but there was never a definitive angle on it,so it was upheld.

Realistically, all three calls should have gone Miami's way. The two ST's plays were called incorrectly on the field, but there wasn't enough to overturn them on replay,IMO. The AJ Green fumble was complete garbage. If they weren't going to overturn the other two plays based on inconclusive evidence, then there was no way they should have reversed that one.

The Burfict one was the only one that was close. Green clearly had regained possession before his knee hit and the ball came out. Miles touched the goal line but had reestablished himself back on the field by his knee touching down before he touched the ball.

This.

AJ had it 100%

The goal line was a very close call, when I first seen it, I said "damn, he touched the white chalk". Then I seen a replay and said "holy ****, he didn't touch" There was a good angel I seen to show him not touching.

Burfict call was 50/50, but ruled our ball so I didn't see them overturning that.

We got hosed on the PI call when were we would of got the ball back with 2:45 remaining and the two minute warning..

Pittsburgh needs to knock off the stupid s*** penalties. It already cost them a game in Oakland and nearly cost them this one.

I called Willie Colon to tell him that and predicable he put me on hold.

Through my booze vision, yes.

Na, it was pretty sick though how he managed not to touch the goal line because from the angle on live TV, it looked like he for sure touched it.

The call on Clarke was 100% Clarke's plain stupidity. The call on Mundy was wrong but I can see how it was easily mistaken in real time. 2 calls missed on throwing the shoe and jumping on Pouncy's back were BS. We gave them 30 yards in PF on that drive alone.

Between penalties and dropped passes, we screwed ourself out of probably close to 300 yards.

I'd say more like 3,000 yards. And 40 points. In the first half alone.
