The Bengals have historically had HORRIBLE success with 1st round QB's. 2nd rounders, however.....have had MUCH more success with the team. I have no worries about Ginger Jesus.....

This is a good read. You should take a look at it and decide if you think Dalton is a Brett Favre/Drew Brees or a Kevin Kolb/Jake Plummer. History argues for the latter.

Like I said, look in the smack forum, where do see guys upset with Dalton? If you speaking of JN, did not realize you had such a high opinion of what is said in there, but I don't see the masses upset with Dalton there either.

Just keep trolling because this was just an attempt to do just that and not an attempt to have an intelligent conversation. Bengals fans are very aware of what you were up to from your first post. We just played along early for the fun of it.

Your thread would have been relevent back in April maybe. But, after Dalton is on pace to throw for 4000 yards with 29 TD's makes it not as relevent as he has already progresses in year number two.

Interesting read indeed. As to who will he end up more like, honestly more likely to be like the lower names then Favre. Not many guys drafted at any spot turn out to be like Favre did, not saying Andy won't be a good QB and can't win games, just not going to declare him as an elite QB.

Every year QBs get drafted, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc, etc, and most of them, don't pan out. Gabbert (Let's be honest, he's going to fail), Sanchez, Russel, Quinn, Leinart, Young, Campbell, Losman, Boller, Grossman, Carr, Harrington and Ramsey.

All those names are QB's taken in the first round since 2002. The Quarterback position is as big a gamble as any position in the draft. Mixing the right guy, with the right system = wins.

Will Dalton go down in history as one of the all time greats..not counting on it.

Can the kid win games and keep his team in it. So far he has proven that he can do that.
