Right..............
yes........ because none of the ints were his fault. People like you love to blame the QB instead of much bigger problems than the QB.

Truth. Each one came from blind side back pressure, ball tip or a receiver cutting off his route. Brandon Tate did the infamous 'Ochocinco' route. What looks to be a post, perhaps an in route, became a very hazy go route mixed with a stutter step. He sat the route, which you never do. Clearly, Dalton with practice knew where to throw that...and the corner (I believe Sheldon Brown) just jumped in the way. Not Dalton's fault.

None of them were his fault? Are you serious?

I guess Jermaine Gresham should have grew another two feet on the Ed Reed TD return.

I guess the Redskins game it was on BJGE for not dropping to his knees falling backwards and catching a horribly thrown ball in the endzone.

Your right though, holding onto the ball too long and then throwing a horrible throw that was thrown behind tate and jumped by Brown is Tates fault.

Serious.

The entire offensive line was pushed up into his throwing motion area, IE the ability for him to step into a throw and give it the 'zip' or the bullet. He threw this off his back foot, causing it to float.

Hit while in the process of throwing, the ball came out a duck. The line let in their best pass rusher to destroy our QB, resulting in a floating duck, easily catchable.

Tate is running either a POST or an IN route. Regardless, the route does NOT stop. So, if the route does not stop, that means Tate runs into the ball. However, he stops, why? Sheldon Brown, a notoriously hard hitter is right there ready to crush him.

So he is the only QB in the league that gets pressure on him.

I gotta remember watching him that no other QB in the league ever gets pressure forced on him and thats why they don't throw pick 6's.

Oh and before you start making more excuses, you dont think everyone in the stadium knew a blitz was coming when we were on the 2 yard line and the Redskins lined up showing blitz?

You dont think anyone who has watched the Ravens over the last 5-10 years that if we are on third down, which we were, they are going to bring pressure?

And what is the most common ran passing play when you are pinned deep in your territory? The slant route, my cousin even called the play before Dalton threw it and he is a Browns fan.

So while you are making very generic excuses, take a deeper look into these pick 6's and try to tell me they are't on Andy. They are also on Jay Gruden, who has shown his worth this year as well. Unless he is throwing to AJ Green he isn't very good.

When you look deeper into it, you will see that Andy Dalton still can't read defenses and is horrible at audibling into the correct play calls against defenses.

Super Marvio is the coach and on his weekly Wednesday presser he said the only one that was on Andy was the opener in Baltimore. He went on to say that receivers need to finish their routes.

Discuss?

And for good measure, Geno had 2.5 more Ben throw-downs in the playoff clinching win in Pittsburgh.

My bad, not 4 in a row, meant 4 overall.

ohhh ok, I thought Dalton only had 3 of those so far?

off the top of my head I know of the 3rd quarter in Baltimore, early in the game in Washington and the 4th quarter in Cleveland

He does only 3, I meant 4 straight games with a pick. Sorry for the confusion. He actually has 9 INTs already on the season.

He's pushing Weeden for the lead in that category.

ohh ok no problem

and I gotta correct you on this and this actually supports your argument but Dalton doesn't have a pick in each of his last 4 games, he's thrown one in every game this season

Dalton is simply passing too much. This points, once again, to the lack of an effective ground game.

In the 3 games the Bengals won, Dalton's best games statistically, here are his average numbers:
21-30, 70.0%, 297yards, 3tds, 1int, 119.3rating

Now here are the numbers for the 3 losses:
26-42, 61.9%, 279yards, 1td, 2ints, 72.0rating

He can't carry this team by himself, not yet anyways.
