Default A-Rod?

There has been alot of talk lately about the Yankees trading Alex Rodriguez. Assuming the Yankees redo his deal due to PED's, or eat half of his contract or better, do you think the Reds would go after him in a trade for Rolen, Stubbs, or some kind of prospect package? If we could get A-Rod for 5-8 million a year I feel it would be worth it. Maybe play Fraizer at 3rd and put A-Rod at short, or play Cozart at short and A-Rod at third.

I think Rolen has 0% trade value. You won't get much for Stubbs. And I would not want A-Rod.

simply no, give Frazier the playing time at 3rd and let Cozart build on a strong rookie season at SS. Our infield is set for along time in my opinion.

Won't happen but I would try to get A-Rod. See if Cuato is enough to get him but hardly anyone else.

A-Rod, Fraizer, Phillips, Votto in the infield and in the batting order, wow. Could sell a small market with 0 pressure and microscope to A-Rod and a small ball park to get the HR numbers back on track to break Bonds record.

If the reds do that i will permanently start rooting for someone else other than the reds. Arod is past his prime i wouldnt trade a sack of dog schiuate for him its fraziers turn to get a full time job.

This. Both Cozart and Frazier look like they could be solid for us for a long time.

A-Rod hasn't been good since 2010. He hit 30 home runs then. Big whoop. He was benched during the playoffs. He hit 16 hr's two years ago, and 18 this year. Only way we get A-Rod is if he is cut by the Yankees and they pay a significant part of his salary.

2010 was a good year for him. 30 homers is a good number. But to say you wanna make a trade for him? Losing some good players AND paying his $25 million per year salary?

Good grief. He's a good player, but not the A-Rod of yesteryear.

I want to buy whatever some of you are smoking.

He needs to stick with Kentucky basketball. Cueto for A-Rod???? Seriously???? hahaha. So, we can trade Cueto, one of the best pitchers in the game....a legit NUMBER 1 Cy Young candidate, for a player who is just ok now, and makes $25 million a year. Oh and the fact that Cueto is young, and A-Rod is an old fart.

And I thought I heard all kinds of bullshart from Obama and Mitt from last night's debate.
