Default I give the fans credit

I was at the game and the Bengals fans really showed up and were LOUD! There were less steelers fans than i've ever seen there(still to many) But the Bengals fans were very loud and it was no fault of the fans for the loss.

It's never the fans' fault.

That is because the Steelers aren't a very good team this year.

We are just worse.

I could tell the fans were into it especially in the first half. Too bad they were let down as usual.

Marvin Lewis has no idea how to coach a game.
This team seems incapable of putting a complete game together.
The Defense played pretty well tonight....but the offense absolutely ******.
Consequently, the Defense was stuck out on the field for far too long and you could tell it was affecting play.

The offense was trash.
BJGE is NOT an every down back. Get a change of pace guy in here, and do it now. Work the phones. Make a trade. I don't care. This is awful.
Jermaine Gresham is not the star we all believed him to be. Some of the balls he misses are Andy's fault....but some of those need to be caught.
I'm not ready to fire Andy yet...but his performance tonite was abysmal.

Rapistburger punting the ball showed exactly how little ********* was worried about us....they were toying with us.

Vontaze is a heckuva player. He's not a polished player...but you can see potential there. If you can't acknowledge that, you're lying to yourself.

Absolutely pathetic display tonite.

How were the Boos after the game? I wanted to see fans throwing junk on the field.

Dont remember, too ******. BUT every time the steelers fans cheered they were almost silenced by boos every time.

so you made it a point to hold the offense accountable for their failures (which i dont blame you) but yet you make no word of Gruden?

Watching on tv it definitely felt like a great atmosphere and energy at the stadium. Something I VERY rarely feel. Unfortunately the energy was for naught. If we won consistently and the fans had confidence in our ability to win it would be like that every week.

I did notice there were some unusual nuances with tonight's game that we dont normally see during regular afternoon games, like the use of a skycam and sideline reporters

I don't know if Gruden is responsible for the play calling...He's never struck me as a pound the ball type of coach.

That's Marvin's style.

The few times Andy tried to air it out, plays broke down, balls were dropped.

...rambling...sorry.

Anyways, the only reason I didn't call out Jay is because I don't know how much of this is his fault.

well I bring up Gruden because in the games with Washington and Jacksonville everyone including the media was just gushing over his gameplanning and creativity and in the games with Miami and Pittsburgh where we had favorable matchups to exploit as well with Richard Sherman and Troy Polamlu missing, the offense has been pedestrian at best

I mean if Gruden is being praised when things go well then he should be held accountable for when they dont go so well as well, and generally the offense in the 3rd quarter all year has had no urgency at all, it seems like Gruden gets a free pass while everyone wants to nail Marvin for this when Gruden should be accountable as well

I may be giving Gruden the benefit of the doubt too much...
Marvin might be drawing more of my ire because I'm so very tired of his same ol same ol bull ****.

I'll try to come back with a more rational and calmer set of thoughts in a day or 2.

Am one of the biggest Gruden supporters. But agree tonight I was unimpressed after first drive,
