Request for creating threads.
I agree with the 50 post/ 6 months rule no doubt whatsoever.
However, I am suggesting we add onto this. What to add on you ask? Where you can't make a thread if you have negative reputation. Rep, obviously isn't everything, BUT, if you're in the negatives, the majority (if not all the time) you're just a troll seeking to stir up trouble and get everyone you can all roweled up. I mean, am I wrong here? I understand the counter of this could be "well, someone disagreed with me and I'm a noob and they neg repped me". Ok fine, but like any of the other two options, you must work to achieve them (6 months,50 posts) so work back to saying something meaningful in a thread to get some positive rep points. I mean it doesn't take a genius to be in positive reputation, so why not?
