[D's Nuts and Bolts]

Saw this guy play a lot in college here in Manhattan he was a safety before he moved to OLB. Thought he would have benifited from a year on the PS. Bill Synder knows how to mold young men, disipline players and he was a well liked guy around here. I really hope we draft his old teammate Auther Brown this year. Here is a Vid.

Really like his skill set. He's still a long way from being an impactful player in my opinion, but he moves incredibly well in space for a guy his size. With the right coaching he could be a very well balanced player.

Excited to see what he can do. At least he has a chance to be healthy unlike Moch.

Lemur is the only prototypical WILL we have on the roster.

Hopefully, Lemur will get the 2nd team snaps over Vincent Rey.

Speaking thereof, let's all pray for Dontay Moch. I really hope there is a way his migraines can be either totally cured or significantly reduced. Some things are more important than football and Dontay's long term health is one of them.

I'm quite sure that Rey will be pretty inactive himself, whether he plays or not.

But I'm happy to see Lamur get a shot. Seems like we can't draft any decent linebackers, but we do alright with college free agents.

Kind of crazy considering Dre is the number one overall pick. But i can kinda see why with Manning we need all the cover players we can. And a LB that can cover well would help tons. Does any one know how he is with the run stop?

Granted that he'd only be playing WILL, but, with how small he is and the fact that it was his position prior to backer, I'm wondering if we could put him at SS and if he could handle it.

I look way to far into things, but it could mean that we want him for depth because we're starting Burfict at MIKE or SAM, but I think that we probably would have heard about that.

I think he started at S when he got to KSU but moved to backer. Let's hope they found a sleeper who can contribute, like one poster said with some coaching and time in the weight room might be a keeper. We need another nickel backer to go along with Tez.

I really gave up believing the weights listed on Bengals.com. The weight listed on the site is probably the one he was weighed in at when he got here back in April considering it hasn't changed since then.

I think 6-4 235 is plenty big for a WLB. We want him being fast and avoiding blockers. Put the big guys in the middle and SLB.

You know, it was only a couple plays I saw him, but I have to admit, I am a little impressed. The first time I even notice he's in the game, he's getting good coverage on a TE..... let me repeat that... he was getting good coverage on a TE!

Then he darts down on special teams and makes a good tackle, and I see him defend a pass later. I saw a couple decent tackles on run plays. I know as the game went on, I focused less on him than the bottom of my beer, but I was still altogether pretty impressed for a guy who literally just joined the team off of the PS. I don't know if that's because he actually IS good, or maybe the other LBers I had to compare him to were pretty ****-poor.. but either way, surprised in a good way.
