Ok! Before I get started, I really loved this draft the Bengals just finished! Addressed everything we needed and more, except for a RB! We have depth and competition at every spot which will be great come training camp!
I am a huge OSU fan and have always liked Dan BOOM Herron, but I just dont see him having any impact on this team! He is not a very fast / speed demon type of back! No elite speed! Bernard Scott and BJGE look to be the 1 - 2 Punch as of right now! Leonard may factor in at some point! Peerman not so much! It is hard to say what will be our biggest needs at the 2013 NFL Draft, but looking right now, I would definitely say that RB is one of our biggest needs! So, with that being said, who are the top RB prospects that we should keep our eye on for next year and the draft?? |

I wonder if Lattimore can outfduel Barkley for the number one spot.

I would love Montee Ball. This guy can do it all. He is a touchdown machine and I actually think might be better all around back than Richardson. I was upset when he said he was returning to school.
If we are looking for speed back I would go Randle from OKstate. Or we can just trade for J Stewart. WhoDey4ever ![]() |

With the departure of Bobby Petrino, Joe Adams, Jarius Wright, and Greg Childs at Arkansas...I'd keep a very close eye on Kniles Davis. The was special in 2010 and injured all 2011. The guy will carry the team this year if healthy and could be a top RB in next years draft.

Pointless. Ball really isn't that great, but a product of an always excellent Wisconsin OL. ANd the loss of a guy will never effect the Wisconsin OL, since they turn them out like hotcakes

I want Le'Veon Bell out of Michigan State. The guys is a freak! 6'2" 237 should run a 4.5. It's about time we get a RB that makes the Ravens and Steelers think twice about making that tackle. Second choice would be Davis out of Arkansas.

Maybe not anymore. The Wisconsin Offensive Line Coach and Offensive Coordinator are now with Pittsburg.

Here's what I think:
With Wharton and Zeitler at the guard positions, our current RBs will look better than everyone thinks they will.

Truth. But 2 of them are getting long in the tooth.

I agree as well but I'd like to see someone not named Bernard sharing snaps with the firm

Walter Football already has us mocked taking Marcus Latimore, but if we do well this year and make a run in the playoffs, and Marcus runs 1500 yards we might not be able to draft him unless we give up A LOT.

A player I will be watching is Roy Finch of the Sooners.
Local kid much like TR, he will only be a Jr. this year but I like his skill set especially in a West Coast type of system.

My top 5 in order would be:
1) Marcus Lattimore - South Carolina 2) Andre Ellington - Clemson (small but surprised nobody mentioned him yet) 3) Montee Ball - Wisconsin 4) Kniles Davis - Arkansas 5a) Stepfan Taylor - Stanford 5b) Eddie Lacy - Alabama

Just wanted to bump this from last year:
My boy Barner is straight killing it and shooting up the draft boards My boy Johnson has fewer carries than the much more heralded Davis (although I think Arkansas has finally figured it out) ; however, has many more yards and TDs My boy Michael is averaging over 5 ypc in the SEC and is getting better every week coming back from the ACL My boy Ball already has over 1000 yards and 13 TDs BTW shout out to EOX for pointing out Bernard early; unfortunately, gotta subtract points for Davis. At this point I'd love to have Barner or Bernard. I think either one would help us out a lot.

There's a chance Barner will go for 300 yards tonight.

Haha Barner had a video game-like game tonight. Stats don't even look real
38 rushes for 321 (8.4 ypc) and 5 TDs. Btw, that Yeldon kid is the real deal with Bama. Gonna be a star. |

Give me Bernard all day.. Dude is a playmaker, hard to tackle in the open field, has a good burst of speed.
