Special teams, not Dalton, blew this game.
If fans had heard going into the game that Cincy would score 2 TDs and 2 FGs in the 2nd half with only one bad drive (INT), I think they would have said "we'll take it!" It's the ONLY game this season where Cincy's offense played BETTER in the 2nd half against a good team.
I say it was the special teams that lost this game. The missed FG at the end of the half plus the KO return for a TD was a HUGE 10 point swing for the Broncos. Take those away and we have a much different game... Cincy'd defense gave up no points in the 3rd. Without the ST gaffes, Cincy would have been up 23-10 early in the 4th quarter. With a 23-17 lead, there's no way Cincy would have done anything except run on 3rd and 25 and then punted. It might not have prevented Den going up 24-23, but Cincy got the last minute FG that could have won the game. A lot of ifs and maybes there, but it certainly looks like the offense and defense did enough to win. |

We only score when we absolutly have to. If we're ahead we play the conservative game, Marvin's speacialty.

Special teams haven't thrown at least 1 INT in the past 8 straight games.

I don't see how anybody could reasonably think Andy was the cause of this loss...
